Chapter 5

Naruto's POV (Time skip to the weekend)

I dreamed about the water goddess again yet I still couldn't see her face and that just pissed me off. I rolled onto my side and saw that it was almost noon so I rolled back over.

'Almost noon,' I thought before jumping out of my bed and landing face fist on the hardwood flooring of my room. I hurriedly got dressed and raced down the stairs while I yanked my shorts up and rolled down the stairs. I rolled down the stairs and my butt hit the front door with a loud and painful bang.

"Oww," I whimpered as I had my legs up against the door and my back on the hardwood floor. I stayed that way until my butt felt a bit better before I got up. I was quiet surprised that neither one of my parents had woken me up. It was a weekend and my parents had work, but usually Mom would set my alarm to wake me up before noon.

I walked into the kitchen as I felt sleep want to invade my mind. I lazily walked around the kitchen, grabbed everything to make instant ramen and started to make it. I walked over to the table and sat in a chair to wait for the water to boil. Instead of feeling the solid wood of one of the chairs, I felt nothing as I fell down and hit my butt against the tiled floor- again. I stayed on the floor and let out a string of curses as I was pissed that the chair had suddenly disappeared. I looked around and realized that there was no furniture in any of the rooms, except mine.

"The hell," I asked out loud. Why was the furniture missing. "Holy crap we've been robbed!"

I jumped up and started to make sure that nothing of importance was taken. While I ran around, I crashed into walls and tripped over a box that had been placed in the middle of the hallway. I fell flat on my face and shouted a long stream of curses as I rolled around on the hardwood floor. I was pretty sure I had broken my nose from the amount of pain coming from it. I pulled my hands away and saw blood and immediately started to flip out. I quickly pushed myself up and ran to the nearest bathroom to get a first aid kit. I frantically searched for one and I couldn't find it. I looked around all the other bathrooms and couldn't find any.

I raced around the house until I remembered I had a cell phone. I stopped running and face palmed that I had forgotten that I HAD A CELLPHONE. I grabbed it out from my pocket and dialed Mom's cell. I waited and it went to voicemail yet I didn't leave a message. I hung up and called Dad only to get the same problem. I decided to call Dad's work and had succeeded............until I was told by his secretary that he was in a meeting, along with Mom. I hung up and groaned in frustration before I walked into the kitchen to check on the boiling water.

I looked into the tea kettle and saw that the water had boiled away. I hung my head as my stomach roared in hunger. I walked to the fridge, pulled out a slice of pizza from the night before and ate it cold. I scowled as I walked up the stairs and into my room. I slammed the door shut in frustration and logged onto my computer to play a violent video game. I tried to pull up Google Chrome but it wouldn't let me and said that I had to be connected to Wi-fi in order to use it. I came up with a simple solution to all of this. I turned off my shitty computer and threw it at the wall, all the while screaming curses at it and the world. After I had cooled down from my tantrum, I looked at the wall and could clearly see into the hall closet.

"Oh shit," I said as I just stared at the computer sized hole in the wall. I had to come up with a lie in order to not get in trouble. I spent the rest of the little day I had trying to think of a lie about the hole in the wall. As I tried to think, I heard two car doors shut and the front door unlock.

I ran down the stairs, falling again and skidded to a stop in front of my now laughing parents. I stayed where I was until they had stopped laughing and had them help me up.

"Sweetheart," Mom said, all evidence if laughing gone. "What's wrong?"

"We've been robbed," I shouted at them. They gave me strange looks before looking around the house and realizing my inference.

"Naruto," Dad said as he looked directly into my eyes. "We weren't robbed. We're moving."

As the words left his mouth, my whole world cans crashing down. I looked at them before screaming "What?!?!"

"Naruto! What have I told you about yelling, shouting, or screaming in the house," Mom screamed at me. I coward back against the farthest wall while saying "I'm sorry" over and over while protecting my head.

Dad sighed and turned Mom around to look at him. I peeked one eye open and saw that Dad had calmed her down with a hug. I wanted to gag at the sight, but somewhere deep down I secretly fangirled. Hey! Don't judge me! They stayed like that while Dad combed his fingers through Mom's long red hair. He didn't let her go until he was positive that she was mellow and whispered something to her. She smiled at him and kissed his cheek before leaving. I saw Dad's cheek turn pink at the simple yet romantic gesture. He turned to me and cleared his throat before he said anything.

"Naruto, we're moving to Kohona on Monday afternoon. You can say goodbye to all of your friends and hang out with them the while day tomorrow. But. You'll have to help us pack tonight and put everything in the moving van Monday morning. Okay?"

I nodded my head before I stood up and walked into the kitchen.

Time skip to Sunday

I walked around the mall with Gaara, Temari, Kankuro, and Matsuri. We were hanging out there before we headed to the arcade to play video games. Matsuri and Temari had gone shopping with at least five bags on each of their arms. They had gotten Gaara, Kankuro, and I to all by something so each of us carried tiny bags. We walked around and had to carry some of the girls' bags since the had decided to buy shoes and makeup.

When we finished the torture, we headed for the arcade and- as usual- Gaara, Kankuro and I all tried to beat each other. We played everything at the arcade and came to a tie. We each won the same amount of games with the highest points. We glared at each other as the girls' talked about what the final game would be. They finally came back and told us we had to play mini golf. With it decided, we all walked to the mini golf course and got our golf balls and clubs. We played everything and ended up in a tie again.

We then all decided to go go-karting to see who would win so we walked to the go-kart track. Everything was continently closed to each other so we never had to walk far whenever this happened. We payed for everything and got in different karts, getting ready to beat each other. As we raced, Kankuro ran into Gaara, I ran into Kankuro and Temari ran into me. We ended up in a crash group as Matsuri crossed the finish line and jumped around once she got out.

"Woohoo," she shouted. "I beat you guys. Temari and Kankuro, you guys owe me money."

Gaara and I looked at them and they shrugged their shoulders.

"What," Kankuro said. "I said she couldn't beat us. She said she could and we bet ten bucks."

"I said you guys wouldn't get me in a crash," Temari said while crossing her arms and looking away from us. "I owe her twenty dollars now. Thanks guys!"

Temari had shouted the last part, got out of her kart and slammed her helmet into the seat before storming off. We all had anime sweat drops as she slammed the door to the track behind her. We raced after her as us guys carried her shopping bags. We finally caught up to her and apologized for making her crash and loosing her money.

"You better be," was all she said as she ripped her bags out of our hands.

It was getting late out and we all said our goodbyes. Kankuro tried not to cry while Matsuri and Temari balled there eyes out. Gaara remained emotionless but I saw in his eyes that he was sad to see me leave.

"Bye guys," I said. I promised then I would text and call them as soon as I could and raced off to my house. The ready of the night was used for packing and spending time with one another.
