-Castiel-
Castiel woke up Thursday morning with a groan as he saw Gabriel perched on the edge of his bed.
"C'mon! You're going back to school." He grinned. Castiel sighed defeatedly and stood up.
"Yay." He muttered sarcastically. He wasn't a morning person in the least. He headed to the bathroom and showered. Afterward, he threw on a plain white shirt, black tie, black pants, and his signature trench coat. He attempted to tame his hair, but gave up and simply gelled it back in the front. He let it do as it pleased on the sides, it mostly spiked forwards on its own anyway.
Satisfied, he meticulously checked through his book bag to make sure he had everything. One more assessing his appearance and deeming it presentable, he headed down to greet his family.
However, he was the first one done.
He had no choice but to grab a snack and wait for the chaos that followed the family routine. When they did come down, they sounded like a herd of horses, pushing and shoving.
"Let's go you little shites!" Lucifer skipped, yes Satan was skipping, out to his beat-up van. He waited impatiently, and everyone piled in.
-Dean-
Dean was waiting with his siblings for the Novak's to arrive. Dean had been skipping school, not that anybody cared, but still made sure his brothers made it into the school alright.
Sam wasn't all too thrilled being stuck with Gabriel, but after talking about some doctor the day before, he was practically buzzing. Dean wasn't really sure what that meant.
Micheal was a bit antsy. Lucifer was the only kid, other than Dean, that had really protected him and much to Dean's annoyance, he was eager to be at his new friend's side.
Adam liked spending time with the quiet Samandriel. Sure, it was more Adam talking at him, but Adam didn't mind.
Much like Michael had the first day, Dean lay sprawled out on the hood of the Impala.
"Hi, guys!" He heard the tell-tale voice of Lucifer. Dean didn't even look up as he heard of the large group of Novak's approach.
"This is our brother Castiel." Gabriel introduced a boy Dean couldn't really see. "That's Sam, Adam, Michael and Dean Winchester. They moved here Friday." Dean's brothers greeted him, and finally, an elbow in the side promoted Dean to do the same.
"Hi." He gave a small wave as he sat up. The boy he was greeting seemed unsure, or maybe just bored. He was fidgety and he was constantly looking around.
"Cassie." Gabriel hissed.
"Hello, I am Castiel." His voice was deeper than any of the Winchesters were expecting. He also sounded rather formal.
"I'm pretty sure you and Dean have some of the same classes." Gabriel chirped. Castiel nodded a bit, seeming detached from the situation. Gabriel just sighed softly.
"Class will be starting soon. Maybe we should go?" Samandriel suggested.
"Yes. We should go to our classes. The teachers frown upon students being late to classes." He murmured. Gabriel looked at Dean, stepping forwards.
"Can you look after him, please?" He pleaded softly. Dean nodded reluctantly.
"Yeah, shouldn't be too hard." He turned to Castiel. "Well, Cas, can I call you Cas? I'm going to call you Cas. Let's go." Dean flashed a smile at Castiel. slinging his arm around the boy.
Castiel looked a bit confused as Dean led him away. As soon as they reached the school, everyone was looking.
"Is that Castiel Novak?"
"What is he doing back?"
"Didn't the Novak's have him locked up in his room."
"I heard he tried to kill himself."
"Well, I heard he's gone mad!"
The cruel gossip was quickly silenced by a frim glare from Dean. The Novak's were protecting his brothers, so he would protect theirs.
"Cassie!" A female shouted. The voice was followed by a pterodactyl-like shriek as a redhead sprinted down the hallway. "Move, bitches!" She shoved a few traumatized looking kids out of her way. Castiel seemed to light up a bit, and Dean sidestepped away from Castiel, already sensing the girl's intentions.
She got close and then seemed to fly through the air towards the boy, tackling him to the ground.
"Ouch." He groaned, shoving her off. His voice had almost instantly lost the formal edge to it.
"Sorry, not sorry." She sprung to her feet, leaving Dean to wonder where the hell she stored all the energy. "Who are you? OH! Nevermind. You're one of the new kids." She looked down at Castiel, pulling him to his feet. Then, she slapped him. "Don't you ever pull that shit again!" She snapped, changing moods in a flash.
"Ow!" Castiel whined.
"Once again, sorry not sorry." She huffed. She hooked her arm with Castiel's and then grinned at Deam. "We have a few classes together, but you were only in like one of them." She chirped too full of energy. She smiled happily, grabbing Dean and pulling the two of them behind her.
She let go of Dean as they entered the class but kept Castiel in tow. She settled in the middle of the "nerds" section. Dean entered the room, and a few girls sighed like creepy bitches. In the back, a few of the jocks were practically itching to get their hands on Dean and force him to join some team.
He rolled his eyes a bit. He could feel Charlie's eyes digging into him like she was assessing him. Dean moved over and sat at an empty desk beside the pair.
The other kids stared wide-eyed, and a few flinched at his every move.
The teacher walked in, a few minutes after the bell rang, and the torture began.
Hiya! I know, a day early. But, I can't post anything tomorrow because I will be kinda busy trying to catch up on some work I fell behind on... Oooops. Anyways, I'll be posting an extra chapter in a bit, because this one was kinda short. I post every six days, just cause I feel like it =^.^=
How has your week/day been?
