Lucifer

It had been nine days since the Winchester's walked into the school for the first time. Nine days, and Lucifer barely knew anything about them. After the strange exchange between the brothers the day before, he had been struggling to leech any information he could without spooking Michael.

Which was hard.

Adam didn't show up, leaving Samandriel mostly silent without a boy to talk for him.

Two Winchester's down left Castiel's best friend furious.

So, Lucifer wasn't surprised when he had to pry the redheaded off of a rather frustrated looking Sam Winchester.

"Charlie!" Lucifer held the girl at bay, "I don't think they want a dead brother," He chastised, barely able to hold her back.

"Then make him stop feeding me all these bullshit lines! Adam nearly had a mental breakdown yesterday, Dean isn't here plus he-" She quickly cut herself off for a moment, composing herself. "And now, both of them are gone? What trouble are you Winchester's in?"

"Like I said, Charlie, there is no trouble! Our dad needed us, for reasons that, frankly, aren't any of your business. Now, I'd really appreciate if you'd stop trying to grill us for information that doesn't exist!" Sam snapped, seething a little. It was something Lucifer wouldn't have expected from the teen when he first met him, but Charlie was pushing his buttons.

With that, Sam stalked down the hallway.

"Lucifer, will you bail me out if I... Oh, I don't know, commit homicide?" Charlie asked, looking a bit calmer. Lucifer sighed heavily, though a smile made its way onto his face.

"You know we would." He patted her on the head. "Hopefully you didn't just spook them." He stopped for a moment, his brain finally processing everything that had been said. "Hey, what else were you going to say about Dean?"

"Dean has this cut or something down his side. The only reason I know about it is it showed up on Cassie." She looked up at Lucifer. "Those boys really are into something, but I have no clue what. I mean, sure people are clumsy but it looks like claw marks, Lucifer, claws!" She threw her hands up in exasperation.

"Calm down, you need to chill. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation." He started, but Charlie was having no part of it.

"I tried to think it was a dog, maybe he pissed it off or something. He seems like the kind of asshole to do that, but Lucifer you haven't seen it. It looks like a wolf, but you know there are no wolves around here!" She shook her head slowly, trying to calm herself.

"Well, I'll stay around Michael and see if he slips up or something. I've noticed he's not the best liar." Lucifer gave her a consoling pat on the head and slipped down the same hall Sam had.

Lucky for him, he had met up with Michael farther down.

Lucifer picked up the pace, jogging down the hallway to the pair. Only one seemed pleased to see him, which didn't surprise Lucifer much.

"Hey, Sam, sorry about Charlie. She went through a lot when my brother... Nevermind. Anyways, she'd just super on edge." He offered a smile, and Sam hesitantly returned it. Lucifer quickly diffused the tension in the only way he could think off.

Bringing up one of his siblings.

"Gabriel is probably looking for you, he needed help setting up a prank or something." Lucifer chuckled softly.

"Your brother is going to get me into so much trouble!" Sam seemed to be fighting off a smile. Michael glanced at his brother and visibly relaxed, probably happy everyone had finally relaxed/
