SUMMER CARNIVAL WEEK

The carnival has finally starting and oh god Im already exhausted although its only the second day of the week. Assisting Zhengting is not an easy task, we literally have to survey everything in order to keep the carnival smooth.

And me and Zhengting have become closer through this event. Whenever we're being close, I'll always feel this butterfly in my stomach I guess? My heart won't beat at a normal rate and it just feels good to see his beautiful face.

'' AHHHHHH! '' I scream my heart out in the middle of the river. Lately, this has been my hideout whenever I wanted to have my own time.

'' You may scare the shit out of those birds, girl! ''

I turn around to see a girl with a round-glasses is smiling at me. I scratch my hair. '' Urm sorry,''

She chuckles to my reaction and heads towards me. She then reaches out her hand. '' Hi I'm Jiseul Cess, a transfer student, I just arrived here yesterday, ''

I gladly accept her hand, '' Oh Im Hani! ''

We then have a talk with each other. It feels so great talking to Cess since we share a lot of things in common and she's only here for three months before going back to South Korea. As we're talking, I heard my phone ringing. I look at the caller. Its Quanzhe.

'' Hello? ''

'' Hani? Come to the main hall now! Zhengting is searching for you.''

'' Oh okay! ''

Hearing the name Zhengting, once again my heart beats so fast. I was about to leave in a rush when I suddenly reminded of Cess who was looking confused. '' Hani, are you alright? '' She asks. '' Im sorry Cess but...ughh just follow me! ''

I grab her hand and we rush to the main hall. '' WAIT WHERE ARE WE GOING? WHY ARE WE RUNNING? '' She exclaims while we're running.

'' TO THE MAIN HALL! ''

AT THE MAIN HALL...

We finally arrive at the main hall and both Cess and me are catching our breath after the run. I saw Quanzhe are rushing to us. '' There you are! Quick! Go up to the stage, Hani! ''

I look up to the stage and see the whole students council are up there and are sitting by facing to each other. Everyone seems to have their respective partners except Zhengting. What's the occasion now? I raise my eyebrow to Quanzhe, demanding a sole explanation.

He sighs, '' We'll have a pocky game among the students council and since there's 13 of them, Zhengting doesn't have a partner to play with.

I frown, '' So what does it have to do with me? ''

'' Of course it does! You're his partner, just go up Hani! '' Quanzhe pushes my butt to the stage in front of the crowd! Damn Quanzhe! I turn around just to see he's flirting with Cess.

I walk up to the stage and sit right in front of Zhengting. He welcomes me with a heartwarming smile. I bit my lip, feeling nervous. I turn my head a bit and see Wenjun right next to me with his partner, Pan Junya. Our eyes met and I don't know why I can see some sadness in his eyes. I smile to him but he just turn away.

'' So are you ready for the game? '' The emcee asks. He distributes the pocky to each of us and Zhengting bite at an end of the pocky at the same time he pulls my shoulder closer to him, signaling me to bite at the other end of the pocky.

I swear Im not breathing at the moment! First, his face is just a few cm away from mine! Second, I can see every inch of his pretty face! Third, cmon its a pocky game, there's a high possibility that our lips will touch each other!

'' Ready! Set! Go! ''

Zhengting is now slowly coming closer to me. He bites the pocky gracefully and his eyes aren't laying on the pocky, instead on mine without blinking. He keeps on biting the pocky until he comes way too close to me that Im sure if he moves a bit more, his lips will touch mine.

'Please...don't move..stop Zhengting..' I mutter my prayer and close my eyes.

'Craaaaack! '' I heard the sound of the pocky being broken.

'' Spit the pocky, '' Zhengting asks while putting his hand below my mouth. I spit the pocky. He grabs it and eat it! What?!

I almost choked! '' Aren't you suppose to hand it to the emcee so that he can measure the length of the remaining pocky?! '' I exclaim.

He giggles to my reaction. '' What for? We're gonna lose anyway. You were supposed to bite that pocky too but you closed your eyes. You don't expect me to come closer to you, do you? ''

I was about to reply when he leans closer to me and whisper, '' We could've kissed if I hadn't stopped earlier, ''

For the sole sake of god, my jaw has never dropped this wide! I saw Zhengting's winking at me. My stomach is hurting I swear! I stand up. '' I...I..I just..don't know how...to..to..play this..game!'' I stuttered while defending myself.

'' Congratulations to Cheng Xiao and Zhou Yanchen for winning the game! '' The emcee announce  the winner

I quickly get down the stage and Justin's there along with Quanzhe and Cess. '' Hani! Why were you in the kissing game? I though you're holy?'' Justin looks at me, almost tearing up. Quanzhe rolls his eyes. '' Its pocky game, not kissing game! ''

'' But still, they were kissing just now! ''

I glare at Justin. '' I did not kiss him, Justin, oh my god! ''

'' But we almost kiss if I hadn't stop earlier! '' I startled when I heard Zhengting coming from behind. Justin opens his eyes so wide while Quanzhe and Cess are giggling having seen Justin's stupid face.

'' Don't kiss my Honey! She's as pure as bees! ''

'' Justin! ''
