Conner's Point Of View
I leaned against the railing outside of my room, haling in the weed of my joint letting it relax all of my nerves before I cry my heart out.
"She cried over you" I didn't bothered to look behind me because I knew Stella was here with Adam.
I nodded at his words.
"She cried for days" he said joining me by leaning against the railing too.
"I know" I said.
"Then why didn't you reach out to her? Why didn't you give her the closure she needs?" He said.
"Because I'm hurting too!" I shouted.
"Because I'm afraid if I see her crying in front of me, I'll apologize and ask her to take me back again. But I can't do that!" I dropped my gaze.
Adam looked stunned. He looked at me if I were a manica that goes on their knees begging for the only ones that they love desperately.
"If she doesn't want me back, then it would be safer so that I can't hurt her anymore than I already have" I sighed.
I began to cry, I tilted my head down looking at my shaking hands before taking another puff of my smoothen joint.
"Conner I get you, honestly now I do" he said.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" I questioned glancing up at him from the concert of my left eye.
"That means I get it where your coming from, you just want to feel whole with her in your arms again" he said.
I turned my face directly at him full on. "I miss her like crazy Adam, we were so close but now we aren't" I abmited.
"Sure you do, Stella misses you too but she's very and very scared to get hurt again and she doesn't want to be through what she went through ever again" he said.
It was my fault that she did went through stuff like that. Everything that she went through was entirely my fault.
"Adam it was my fault that she went through that" I said.
"Actually it wasn't Conner" he said.
"Yes it was, I brought her every where with me so it was my fault" I protested.
"Conner it wasn't, they happened because that's how life is, shit happens okay" he said looking me in the eyes.
"But it is Adam" I sighed. "I put her through everything that shouldn't have been in her life, including when we first met".
Adam scrunched his eyebrows up and scratched his head gently. "I've always wondered how you two met" he said. "so how did you guys meet?".
I gave a small laugh and leaned against the railing once more. "Back in grade ten—" I trailed off looking back of how we met in a grave yard at the little chapel.
~~~
I looked at my friends, Jacob, Matt, and Andy. I held the steel pole that I had in my hands as they were shaking.
"Let's do this quick, in and out okay?" Jacob asked.
We nodded our heads and we bursted into the chapel. Jacob, Matt and Andy ran around finding what they can steal until I dropped the steal pole that I had in my hands.
There had been a girl kneeling in the front set of pews, she held deep brown hair that was long to her mid back as her skin looked very soft.
She suddenly looked up and towards to Jacob was with an open mouth.
She gotten up quickly and ran towards where I was but I suddenly grabbed her wirst out of no where.
She looked at me with fear and sadness. I knew I couldn't hurt her.
Her eyes. They were amazing to look at and get lost in them, they were blue like the sky but you could tell that she had a rough time going on by the look she had on her face.
"What are we going to do with this runt?" Jacob asked.
I didn't want her to get. I choose my words wisely. "I don't know" I said.
The girl looked at him and back to me repeatedly.
Then suddenly there was shooting pain from the girl bring her foot up and kicked me in the grind.
I crouched over, grabbing my lower haft winicing in pain a little before I released the girl as I saw her from the corner of my eye.
Soon enough I recovered from the pain and went out side to find Jacob, Matt and Andy looking around where she was until I saw her running into the grave yard.
I rushed towards her and embraced her into a bear hug, covering every inch of her the best I could.
"Where is that runt?!" Jacob yelled.
I looked up once everything was clear to come out of hiding. "Its all clear for you" I said.
I stood there as she soon followed my action. I saw her lift her hand and she pushed back my hood.
I saw fear in her eyes, there were also sadness, unwanteneds and she looked like someone who needed love from a terrible past.
She looked at me dead flat in the eyes. My dark hair rustled in the wind slightly as my eyes glinted in the moon light.
"What were you thinking?" She asked.
"I was covering you" I said.
"Well then I could have done it on my own thank you very much" she said a bit sassy.
"You've wouldn't" I remarked.
"And how were you supposed to know?" she asked in a sassy tone of voice.
"Well I don't know" I said shrugging my shoulders.
"See exactly my point, but who are you anyways and why did you do that?" She asked.
She folded her arms and looked me up and down, clearly sizing me up and down.
"Well I'm Conner, I did that because you looked silent, pretty and harmful while you were kneeling in the chapel" I explained.
"Oh okay, Well I'm Stella, but thank you for covering, but why were you and those other guys stealing the money that is in the chapel?" She asked.
I looked down and up as I rastled my hand through my short drown hair and gave a little grin. "They have reasons that are needed to be unsaid" I said.
"Oh, okay but I do in fact have to go like now so bye" and with that she ran away as I stared at her back from the distance.
Stella was here name.
~~~
Adam just looked stunned. "That's how you two met, huh one weird way of meeting" he said with a small grin.
"And from that night Adam, I knew that she was made for me" I said taking another drag of my joint.
"Conner just you wait okay, time will tell" he said patting my back gently.
"I know Adam" I said.
I looked down and she was still on my mind but this time, it was bad but in a good way.
