My heart was pumping with excitement as my car engine was roaring.

There were a lot of people on the bleachers that formed a crowd.

I haven't race liked this in a long time.

I looked across from my car as I locked eyes with Rachel.

This was not her turf but it wasn't mine either anymore, except I felt like I belonged here and always will be.

The red lights began to count down to the green lights, and we went off.

She was in front of me by a few arounds but until it came to the last two laps.

I was in front and making my way to the last lap.

Everyone that I knew who was at this track was chanting for me and they were standing on their feet by being on the edge of excitement, with their fist pumping in the air while screaming.

I knew I had to beat her but this race felt so good to let go.

I soon rounded the corner and saw the finish line up ahead. I picked up my speed even more and zoomed across it. Everyone cheered as I parked my car and gotten out of it as soon Tony came rushing to me and hugged me real tight.

"This bring back the good old times!" He chimed.

And he was right on that.

"Hugging me real tight Tony" I sqeaked.

"Oh sorry" he laughed and had let me go.

I saw Rachel coming out of her car looking frustrated.

"Look, I tried to tell you–" Rachel interrupted by shrieking with anger.

"I don't want to go back!" She snapped."I actually feel like that I belong here".

I released a few chuckles from my mouth.

"No one wants you here!" one of my pit team members yelled.

She just sighed and folded her arms.

"Let's go" she snapped.

I shrugged my shoulders and went into my car with her in the passenger size.

We stayed in slience the whole ride until we returned to ontario.

"Come on" I said. Getting out of my car right after I parked it.

"Why did you raced?" She asked.

I looked at her and blinked my eyes. A "What?" came out of my mouth and I blinked my eyes once more at her.

"Why did you raced?" She asked again.

I sighed and returned to sit in my car with her staring back at me.

"It brought in money for me. To pay for my schooling, food to have on my plate–" I trailed off.

"Than why did you put your gear in a box then?" She asked also.

"Rachel, I could of have died if I didn't. I was in a bad accident–also costing me not to walk again and I was almost in another one shortly after that one too" I said.

She just simply stared at the dashboard and released a small sigh. "You know, your the first cousin that I know who actually did things for them selves" she said.

I looked at her with narrowed eyes. "Well it was harder than it looked to get back on my feet and race again" I laughed dryly.

"Stella, I am really sorry for taking these" she said. Pulling off my other pairs of racing gloves and placing them on the dashboard.
