Chapter 6- Hungry for the spot

"Ohh-MY-GOOD-NESS", I get to the arena ready for the games and all I can see is this large vertical obstacle course. It's huge, and I don't know if any off us will make it past the 3rd of 6 stories.

"It's okay, we'll survive. I hope" Tahni turns at me with a worried face.

"Well, don't you have an advantage miss, I'm a snow leopard and can climb as heck" Anala makes it out that I'm most certain to win.

"Come on guys, and Anala your a frikin Panther, you can't talk" I say most certainly correct.

"WELCOME, TO THE LEADER GAMES, everybody if you may now turn off all cells phones that would be super, jokes you don't have any, hahahaha" James is pretty much a nut head when it comes to events such as today.

"Competitors, if you could please evenly space yourselves around the 'CYLINDER OF UNFORTUNATE WORRYS' that would be great. Rules, no shoving, the pipes already do that for you, no flying for you birds out there, in which none of you are birds so forget that, and no violence, I don't want to be he one cleaning the dead body's up" James stated.

"ON MARKS, GET SET, GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Yelled James so that the whole county could hear.

As I run to the cylinder, I trip over a couple of times.

I hear Lily supporting me all the way up. "You can do it Eliza, I believe in you" her voice made me determined not to let her down, the first floor was a rotating circle that you got up by ladders, I fell down quiet a lot but I'm still in lead. I get passed the next 5 floors that were to easy for my leopard form, and as I can see I'm in lead. I finally get to the last floor, which had automatic punchers in them. I get so close to the top when a puncher, punches me down to the bottom, leaving me lying there in pain, with a most probable broken back.

"WINNER!!" I hear James scream through the megaphone.

"LEADER OF THE PACK, TYSON RICKY!!!" I hear chants and screams, as I realise that Tyson took the leadership. I'm in pain through my back and through the fact I didn't get my dream, to be pack leader.

"Anything you want to say, Tyson" James questions Tyson.

"Yes, just one thing, I am blessed that I won, only it wasn't my race to win..." The crowd gasps as he speaks.

"This race, wasn't mine, it was Eliza's race, she deserves it as much as any of us do" more gasps and whispers go on for about a minute. Tyson helps me up, and passes the microphone to me.

"Anything you want to say, leader" he says looking through my eyes.

"Umm, thank you, for giving up leader for me, Tyson" he nods and passes the microphone to James.

"How sweet, Eliza, you have to choose your co-leader and your three other animals, besides your own" James says passing the microphone back to me.

"Co-leader, hmm..., I thought of this a lot before the competitions and I have chosen Lily as co-leader, I'm sorry Tyson, but Lily is like my sister. My three other animals are going to be, lion, hawk and Alaskan wolf"

James pores some potions into a bottle and tells me to drink it.

"Lily what are your two animals you are going to choose" James says as he is walking her way.

"I will choose, hmm, eagle and jaguar, please James" Lily looked so pleased to have positions of what she has chosen.

"Now, last five people will help me clean up the arena" as soon as James said five, myself, Lily and Tahni ran for our life's and it happened to be Honey, Anala, Adi,Kane and Sarah whom helped clean up.

"Great job Eliza" Tahni said felling so happy.

"Thanks, but did you see Kane fall of the spinning wheel, it was hilarious" I say.

"Yes, I started laughing and it got behind Gabe, I was like 'noooo' haha" Tahni laughed and giggled.

"Well as pack leader, I need to find ice for my back, cya guys" I say and walk of leaving Tahni and Lily with shocked faces.
