HAYE'S POV:
on my way home, my parents just look straight ahead. Everything is still and is silent.
My face hurts like hell though. when I looked in the mirror, I had bruises all over my cheek bones, and my eye was beyond swollen. As my parents pull up into our driveway, we all get out, and start heading for the door. On my way, I glance over at rain's house. She's probably resting her leg, thinking that I am just like my brother. In truth, I am nothing like my brother. I consider myself kinder and not so power seeking as he is.
Once inside, our parents just motion for us to sit down on the couch. When we both sit down, I look up to see my parents staring at us both with disappointed faces.
"explain yourselves" my father groans
I tell them first what had happened, how Gail had knocked Rain out by playing that stupid football game of his. How his stupid power craze has made him into a jackass that was willing to hurt others in order to continue to be popular and have power in the school. And that was exactly why I had socked him. He needed to learn what respect was.
When I was done, my parents just nodded, a bit of a smirk on their faces. They knew I loved to stand up for others. And that was exactly what I did. Next was Gail's turn, and as always, he fucked up the important parts, making sure he got in no trouble.
" and when we rushed over to see if she was okay, we saw Hayes already there, trying to wake her. He was Desperate. Then, when she did awake, she looked up and saw me and my team bent down, trying to see if she was okay, and I think that Hayes got jelous because she was paying a lot of attention at me, giving me looks of admiration,as all the girls do,so he socked me" my brother concluded, a grin spread wide on his face.
" oh, and did I mention that it was he who tackled her and broke her bone" he added
" that was only so I could get her out of the way of the ball you fucked up -"
"HAYES!!!" dad roared
taking a deep breath, my dad looked at the both of us.
"now, since you two cannot get along, you both will share a room with each other for a month and are both grounded a month."
"what about my medical stuff? AND HE DID IT!! WHY SHOULD I GET IN TROUBLE" I shout
" you socked your brother. and well, we can just put your medical stuff on your side, we'll split your room in half since you got the biggest one in the house"
It was true. I got the biggest room because of my asthma and my immune difenciency disease,which is a rare one. When I get to my room, I start to move my medical gear like my heart rate monitor and my furniture to my half of the room. Since I got here first, I gave myself the side of the room with the door to the bathroom and the only doors- the sliding glass one and the wooden one.
I take some scotch blue tape and tape the boundry line of our two halves of the room. As I am doing that Gail walks in , and once he see's that I got the best side, he rolled his eyes.
" this isn't over loverboy"
" my revenge on you is only beginning, so bring it on." I growl
Basically because of my immune disease, Gail can't do anything bad or hilarious to me, then he would have to take me to the hospital and get in even more trouble. I'm weak and sick about 95% of the time and anything can set me off.
"done yet?" my brother asks me curiously
"yep"
"good get your clothes off my blow up bed"
" I'm not touching those!! they have the Dumbass its, thanks to you" i shout playfully.
giving me a dirty look,he walks over to the bathroom to take a bath. Laying down on my bed, i put my Beats headphones on and close my eyes. Well this should be one hell of a month, i think to myself as my eyes begin to droop, sleep overtaking me.
when i wake up, my head feels groggy and my eyes feel sleepy. Getting up, i go to the bathroom and take a short shower and, afterwords dress in my red sweater that is too big for me and some black skinny jeans. My hair goes into a beanie so that it wont bother me.
Once i get out, i see that Gail is still fast asleep in bed and i get an revenge plan idea. taking a bottle of blue hair dye, i empty Gail's conditioner bottle halfway, filling it with the dye, and i go over to his football bag,and grab his helmet. Taking a permanent marker, I write " dickhead" on the back of it, knowing that tonight he has his big game.
Revenge is sweet.
When i go down stairs,I grab a bite to eat then start walking to school, which only really takes me 20 mins. Gail gets to take the minivan to school today. My revenge on him isnt done yet,this one is just a taster.
when i get to theater, i check my phone to see if Rain is here yet, but find about 4 texts from her.

Hi hayes, hope you are okay and that you did'nt get into much trouble.

UGGGH! i can't sleep. Can u?? The pain!
****6:00 AM****
CAN I SEE U IN SCHOOL? TXT ME?
smirking,i rush down to the stadium and start to walk to the stadium. I look over and see Gail in distress with electric blue hair,with his team all huddled around him, some of them smirking and taking pictures of his helmet. Revenge is sweet.
As I passed, half the team, lead by Gail looked at me with very dirty looks, then grabbed some footballs and started aiming. Immediately, I take several steps back, untill i am touching the bleachers.
The crappy thing about Gail is that he cant throw a ball more than 5 feet. so , when the balls came, I didnt get hit once. They didnt come at me within a 4 ft radius. the balls just landed in front of me and while walking, not a single hit me. Guess it's true that an 9th grader can outsmart an 12th grader. When i reach the theater, I Turn around and give them all a middle finger and walk inside
I'll make him pay for this. And i'll teach him a lesson he'll never will forget.
