Personality Odin is a intelligent individual, caculating, and cunning. He's never one to do something without thinking through it throughly, he always has a plan. He is always prepared. And always willing to point out how stupid something is, with sarcasm, if need be. He never underestimates an opponent, always considering every play and ability, it's sort of like a game to him, he loves a challange.
But he also a sadistic streak, he loves conflict and suffering, ever since he was a child. Any sort of pain is fine, psychology, physical, really anything. That's why he enjoys "training" shifters, because they have strong wills, a challange, and so much more rewarding when he breaks them. And he has a happy air around him, smiling often. He hardly ever gets mad, but if he does, he is silent mad. He doesn't freak out, but it's terrifying because he's calm mad.
Background Ever since he was young, he found himself finding pleasure in others pain. His father was a lord, he was the youngest, with two older sisters and one first born brother. He was always fond of his dogs, especially when he would get then to tear apart a fox during a fox hunt, or kill his sisters cat when she didn't let him go out. His father soon took to beating him when he miss behaved in this manner. And even shot his dogs. So Charles shoot his father. It all looked like a hunting accident, of course, he knew how to cover a crime. He was only thirteen years old.
Then, when he was out with his siblings after their fathers funeral, who didn't suspect him in the slightest of their fathers death, a shifter attacked them. No one will ever know what went on in the shifters head. But Charles siblings where killed. And when the giant dog turned on him, Charles saw something.
This creature was a challange, a beautiful enemy worth his time. A perfect toy.
No one knows how, but he subdued the creature, and took it home, hiding it under the estate. Breaking it in day after day, year after year, until one day, it starved itself. No longer able to handle the pain. And free of having its will destroyed.
From that day on, Charles found the his favorite thing to do. Hunting shifters.
And so when the law passed, he was overjoyed. And he finally met another that shared his sentiment about how useful shifters could be, from a man who had recently lost his child, training three Shifters for him, General Rowen.
