I just stood there after hearing the jury's verdict guilty. Although it was what I had expected I was still scared after all death felt much closer. I shivered. Death by the mountain beast was said to be inescapable. I felt as my hands were put in heavy cuffs. I couldn't stop looking at her my childhood friend who had betrayed me. Here she was probably going to get a promotion. I felt a tear start to build, I had just been so angry. I began to come back to my senses. I had a few choices run, give up or find an escape later. I chose to wait and hope. As we left, my friend was taken away by a man he looked, weird. He had long hair at the back and long hair
sweeping other one eye. He was followed by another man. I was about to walk out when an old lady we knew as the dark one put her hand out and grabbed me by the shoulder and quickly passed me a piece of paper. I took it and pocketed it.
