I was glad Aaliyah was cool with everything I guess our relationship has thrived in the best ways. I was in Brooklyn visiting my daughter London it was a good thing because Sharon was in Brooklyn during this time with Boogie and I really wanted to bond with him get to know him better
I cradled London in my arms as she looked around confusingly in my arms, I had Boogie with me also and he didn't know what to say hell neither did I but I was willing to get him to open up to me like Romeo does I actually wanted him and Romeo to have a right brotherly love bond with each other
"So how's school, you play any sports.", I asked not knowing what to say, I was talking to my oldest child, a child whose life I was just now getting involved in. "I play basketball that's it, school is school it's hard but I wanna box I love fighting.", Boogie says and I looked at him as London kept moving around
"Word. A man I box, professionally what's your favorite boxers name.", I asked him as he smiled widely and looked down. "You.", He says and I smiled and looked at him holding London up
"Me? I appreciate that Boog, look I apologize for not being there earlier but you gotta understand he didn't even know about you until, one of these days I'm a take you to a boxing gym.", I say as he looked at me and smiled. "Really thanks Dam- can I call you daddy.", Boogie asked and I smiled cause I had no problem
"Yeah man, wanna hold her.", I asked as he nodded and I gently gave London to him and he held her it was kinda amazing to see that. "She's cute, I can't believe I gotta sister.", Boogie says and I wrapped my arms around his shoulder
"And a brother, when you meet my girl you gonna love her.", I say and he looked up at me again. "A brother, what's his name and what's your girlfriend name.", Boogie asked I didn't mind him asking me all these questions I knew it was him wanting to get know me
"Romeo and his mom name is Aaliyah, we having another baby.", I say and Boogie kissed London head lightly as he was careful. "Is Aaliyah cool is she gonna talk to me my own mom thinks too much of Puffy then to even hang out with me anymore.", Boogie says and I felt for him
But when he said I couldn't believe that but I could Sharon was the type of woman to do that though, she put a man before anybody including our son. "Don't worry about that, Aaliyah talks man she talks a lot and she can be childish but your gonna enjoy her.", I say as he smiled
"That's cool she already sounds better than my mom anyway.", Boogie says as the day carried on we found ourselves having a lot in common than we thought, all I can say he was definitely my son we both had the same interests and type of mine not only did he look like me he had my personality to the tee
London looked up at Boogie and he smiled at her and it was definitely the first time I've notice that both London and Boogie had the same smile that matched Romeo and for some reason it caused me to smile
