Emma's POV

After lunch we all went our separate ways, except for Jacob and I. We had every class together, it was a definite coincidence. But I like the fact that we have the same classes, I can get to know him better. He would always find someway to sit next to me too. I felt a little special today. But of course the special feeling always has to be ruined somehow.

All of the sudden Chelsea walks up to us.

"Hi Jacob. I'm Chelsea, I was wondering if you'd want sit with me?"

I looked at him to see what his reaction would be.

He laughed a little and said, "No thanks, I like where I'm sitting."

Then he looked at me and winked. I laughed at Chelsea because for once she was finally rejected. She huffed and puffed then walked away to her seat.

"Well that was interesting. I'm surprised someone rejected her," I said.

Jacob looked at me, "Well I don't really like her honestly. She seems like those type of people who want all the attention." We both laughed.

The last bell rang. Jacob and I went to catch up with Stacie and Chloe.

"There they are!" I heard Stacie yell. "So I'm guessing you guys didn't separate after lunch, huh?"

"We have all of our classes together," I told her.

"That makes since, but I have bad news. I can't come over this weekend because my mom is having family night. And everyone has to be there," Stacie told me.

"Oh come on, you tell me to make plans & then you can't come," I said to Stacie.

"I know but I have to go, bye." Then she runs off.

"I know its last minute but I kind of have a family emergency at home," Chloe said.

"Family comes first Chloe," I said huffing – then she ran off to her car.

"Well it looks like my plans are canceled for the weekend, and I'm gonna be alone," I said.

"Why are you gonna be alone? Won't someone be there?" Jacob asked.

I looked at him and nodded no. "My dads out of town with business, and I invited them over so I would have something to do, but that's not happening," I answered.

"I can come over if you want," Jacob says with a serious look.

I looked at him and smiled. "That'd be great. You stay over if that's not a problem for you," I told him.

I wrote my address on a sheet of paper. "Here's my address.

"Just call me if you get lost or anything," I said.

With that we went out separate ways.
