Chapter 22

Emma's POV

Once Jacob parked the car, he opened the door for me and carries me bride style. I laughed, he just wanted to make sure I was okay, and take care of me.

"Is this necessary?" I ask, with a smile on my face.

"Of course, you deserve it." he said, sheepishly.

I knew he wasn't going to put me down until we in the house safely. Once he opened the door, he put me down. When I was put down I went straight to my couch.

"Hey, do you wanna watch a movie?" I asked Jacob.

He nodded in agreement. I found an action movie, no chick flicks whatsoever. I'm definitely not that type of girl. I asked Jacob to make ice cream, since that is what I was in the mood for.

RING RING!

"Hello?" I said answering my phone curiously.

I wasn't expecting any calls from anyone, except maybe Stacie.

"Hello darling. How was the hospital? Quite tragic that you ended up like that, huh?" said an unfamiliar voice, but with a British accent.

"Who is this?"

"Oh trust me sweetheart, you'll meet me soon. You should really be careful, I may come for you," he said serious, but in a little mischievous way.

Jacob came walking out of the kitchen with the ice cream. He looked into my eyes and saw that I was scared.

"Why are after me? What have I ever done to you? I don't know who you are," I said sternly.

I don't who this guy, but he must be a were. Jacob snatched the phone from me.

"Leave Emma out of this. Who ever you are your settling things with me, not her," Jacob said angrily.

"Oh on the contrary, my dear Jacob. You see Emma carries something that could be very useful to me. Of course you should know, but does she?" the man said. Jacob hung up quickly.

"What happened?" I asked, scared.

"Emma, do you trust me?" he said looking in my eyes, he looked worried, and scared.

"Why are you asking me-"

"Do you trust me Emma?" he asked more determined. I nodded saying I did.

I was taken back by Jacob's determination of asking me if I trusted him. I did, but he worries me by the thought of it.

A/N: HA! I've been waiting for this chapter. So yeah Emma received a phone call from someone she didn't expect. Yes he was British, BUT it wasn't Sam just to let you know.
