Unusual Love

Ch. 38

Emma's POV

There was so much pain that I felt in my entire body that I've never felt ever in my life. I didn't expect it to feel like this. Maybe this is what Jacob was talking about. The pain is so bad to handle, it could cause a deadly consequence, but I can't let that happen. I want to see my baby grow up, whether it's a boy or girl. I want to know who he/she will become.

"Emma, just breathe in slow, in and out. Okay? Stay with me as long as you can," Jacob said to reassure me.

I knew he was trying to comfort me by the sound if his voice, but really he's nervous about how this will all go down. But he wasn't the only one.

I want to live to see my baby grow up whatever gender. I started to feel a little dizzy and my body was getting numb.

"Jacob..." I said slowly but trailing off.

"What is it Emma?" He sounded frantic like he already knew what was going to happen.

"I feel a little dizzy, my body is getting numb," I say, trying to get my words out, but it was getting a little challenging to keep my eyes open.

"Her pulse is slowing down Jacob, try talking to her to keep her awake. We have to get this baby out now!" the doctor said.

Jacob nodded in understanding what he had to do.

"Emma stay with me, okay? You're going to get through this. Did you think of a name yet? Huh?" he asked, his voice shaking, but trying to stay calm.

"Well...if it's a girl...I would name her Bella. I haven't really thought about a name for a boy....I always thought I would have a girl....you know?" I could barely make out my words since giving labor was hard.

"Great job Jacob, now Emma I need you to take a deep breathe for me and push, okay? The baby 's almost here. I need a couple more pushes. Can you do that for me?" the doctor asked.

I nodded and took a deep breath. As I pushed I felt more pressure below my hips. I couldn't push anymore, but I knew that I wanted my baby to have a new life.

"That's it. One more push sweetheart," the doctor said - calmly, but making sure I could do it.

"Aaah ahh aahh!" I heard a baby scream.

"What is it? What's the gender?" I asked, a little excitement, but still in pain.

It's...a girl." Jacob said with a smile.

Its a girl - my baby girl, my little Bella.

"Jacob."

My vision started to fade, Jacob was talking; but I couldn't hear anything. Every movement around me was soundless and began to fade.

"Nurse! Take the baby and clean her now! I have to help Emma keep up her pulse!" the doctor screamed.

Okay, so I think my story is really coming along. Again I do apologize for the delay of doing new chapter's, BUT I will be updating at least 2 chapters per day. So please do keep reading and stay tuned. Don't forget to vote & comment what you think if you want.

And also I might be working on a new story. I haven't really figured out what the title will be, but I do what it's going to be about.
