The suicide note

HUH?!

(Kathys POV)

I went snopping in the frat guys rooms to see if I could find a paper and pencil once I found some I started writing a suicide note then put it next to her. I left before the party was over I left and went home . When I got home I started packing her stuff that she brought with her over and burned it. I cleaned myself up and went to watch a movie to make sure when the police came looking for me I'll have a alibi.

(Emilys POV)

The person who found my body was named Troy Bell and he lived in that house. After the party was over he went to the bathroom and there I was laying lifeless in a bathtub he called the police of course and when they got there he explained everything he knew and they rolled my body out of the house. They collected everything on the scene to investigate and they finally found out who I was they called my mom and of course she acted out.

(Roses POV)

I walked in the kitchen and saw mom drinking from a huge bottle of vodka and dialing someone on the phone--

me-mom whats going on?

mom-Rose please go to your room honey Im not ready to tell you yet

me-mom what do you mean

mom-just please go to your room

I walked upstairs and I was confused on what she was hiding from me it was something going on and I wanted answers. She shouted from downstairs for me to get ready because we were going somewhere I knew deep down in my body that something was off and wasnt right. I got ready and walked downstairs and we walked outside and entered the car. I wasn't prepared on what I saw when we arrived to the lab. Emily's lifeless body laid flat across the table and my puffy face begin to turn red and tears fell down my face slowly but it was a lot of them.

{conversation}

me- I knew Emily couldn't keep her promise to me, and I was right now she's just laying there without any last words to me. Mom I know she is dead but can you let me talk to her ? Its because I need clarity.

mom-go ahead

me-Hey Emmy? I know you couldn't keep your promise but I want you to know that I'm not mad at all because all things happen for a reason and I know you aren't alive anymore but you will forever and always be my sister.

mom-Do they know who did this to her!?

pathologist- Not yet but they have suspects and her autopsy says she was stabbed

mom-what kind of  person will be so sick to do such thing? that was my child and she wasn't perfect but that's was my child.

pathologist- I know ma'am but I'm positive the killer will be captured soon because they wasn't so clever.

mom-I will hope so because I wont be at rest until then

pathologist- I fully understand you

mom- I'm glad you do, but Rose say goodbye to your sister so we can head out. The police station is next.

me-alright. I love you Emmy, sisters forever.

We drove to the police station and met up with Aunt Libby while we were there. She kept blaming herself because Emily lived with her and she felt as if she wasn't responsible enough but I comforted her to make her stop crying and tell her over and over again  it wasn't her fault because Emmy made her own decisions. The police had a league to someone named "Kathy Lance", it wasn't just something about her name that made her sound suspicious.

Months  flew by and Emily's funeral passed by briefly I was now only 11 years old with no big sister in presents. Kathy was caught and was sent to prison for 1st degree murder and sentenced to life without a chance of parole. Everything happened fast because it was proof that Emily and Kathy were at that frat party that night. Things just haven't been the same since Emily left...they only got harder. Things with Tyson didn't go well he  found out about the murder the same day Mom and I did, he ended up blowing Emily's phone up and getting no answer he then got my moms number by some way (I don't know how)and of course he went to see the body, he was heartbroken and lost. He flew back into town to pay his respects at the funeral.

5 years later

(Authors POV)

Rose is in high school, she's currently in the 10th grade (16 years old) and lives in Idaho with her mom.(they moved)

Aunt Libby lives in the same house and sometimes visit Rose and her mother.

Tyson lives with his grandma in Britain  and refuses to move on from Emily.

Kathy is still in jail
Jeremy graduated high school,went to college and now is studying for a degree in medicine.
