Before you came around, I thought I'd be able to beat the ocean with my sorrowful tears

But now you're gone again And even the fish are drowning

I've made the ocean saltier, and my hometown is now Atlantis

And the world engulfed in my water of pain

Deprived of breath I attempt to find the surface, but I just can't

No strength No energy Infinitely drowning, my fears, insecurities washing over me in waves without your comfort

I crash, like an ancient shipwreck at the bottom of a murky sea Never to be found again

Around this time I had written many poems to help cope with my feelings. Surprisingly, the sadness helped me create some of my favorite pieces.
