They laughed as they sat there, Blake delighted that Jason would be going with her if she had to leave the island, Jason happy that she didn't mind. He smiled as he looked at her. Her catlike eyes sparkled in the light of the midday sun. She smiled. He made her so happy just by being around her. She kissed his neck softly and purred as he stroked her cat ears. She loved him with all her heart. She wrapped her legs around his waist and snuggled close to his body. She could feel his powerful muscles through his shirt. She smiled up at him as he traced the side of her face with his fingers. She could have stayed like that forever, just looking into his eyes, but she had a thought nagging in the back of her mind. Why didn't she tell her parents about their relationship? She knew she probably had a good reason for it, she just couldn't think what it could be. She decided that it must be a good reason so she decided to keep quiet. She knew that would find out eventually. After all, if Jason insisted on accompanying her if she had to leave the island, they would instantly know something was up. It was more her dad she was worried about. He could be overprotective of her. This lead to him occasionally saying and doing things he had not fully thought out. He had also had never really trusted the Royal Family Of Remnant.

"Is everything alright my love?" Jason asked, looking into her eyes and seeing the darkness there. She nodded slowly. "I'm fine. I just... I haven't exactly told my parents about us yet." He nodded thoughtfully. "I haven't told my parents either. I don't really think we should worry about it right now though." Blake nodded and hugged him as the stood up. She blushed as Jason reached over and brushed some sand off her. He kissed her cheek softly and whispered "I would follow you anywhere... my future queen..." Blake's eyes flew wide open. Had he just said that? She smiled happily. "My future king..." He smiled as they walked, hand in hand, towards the town.

As they walked, she let her he'd rest against his shoulder. The sun was perfectly warm above them. She sighed happily. However, she felt sad too. She had a feeling that, someday soon, she didn't quite know when, but someday soon, this would all end and the war that had been threatening to erupt for the last year would explode into being. And she and Jason would be right there in the thick of it.

Jason sensed her tension and kissed her cheek. "It's all going to be ok Blake..." he said softly. She simply nodded. She couldn't loose him. And he knew that. They needed each other. They were meant for each other. They both knew that. He held her close and she nuzzled his cheek. A cool breeze blew in from the ocean, carrying with it the scent of the sea.

Blake sighed as she held her his hand. "I think it's time that you met my parents." Jason nodded slowly. "Yeah, I think so to."

However, to Blake's surprise, it was Sun that answered the door. He grinned when he saw Jason. "Hey Jason." He said. Jason grinned and replied calmly "hi sun." Blake was stunned. "You two know each other." They both nodded but it was Jason who replied. "I studied for a year at Shade Academy in Vacuo." "So" sun said, looking at Blake, "is this who you have been sneaking out to go see at night." Blake was flustered. "Wha-but how did you know?" Sun chuckled. "I go out on the roof at night sometimes." Blake just nodded slowly. "Is my mom here." Blake asked Sun. Just then Kali appeared at the door.

Jason smiled. "Mrs Belladonna I presume." Kali smiled and nodded. "Yes. That's me. And I know who you are obviously. What brings you here?" Before Jason could say anything, Blake interrupted him. "Mom, I need to talk to you and dad about something... and Jason needs to be with me when I do it." Kali nodded and led them into the house.
