I sat on the carpeted floor of my bedroom that Carlisle gave me. I haven't left in three days, too afraid to touch anything or anyone. I heard a knock on the door and familiar voices.

"Poppy, are you in there?" Carlisle spoke from the other side of the door. I didn't answer just sat in the corner with my knees to my chest.

"Honey, come on out. You have been in that room for days." Esme's soothing loving voice spoke only a few feet away but I can't open that door.

"You don't have to be scared. You can control this power you have." Carlisle told me.

"No, I can't. I'll just hurt Alice again or worse." I chocked out, as a pressure of guilt pressed on my shoulders.

"Poppy, won't you come play with me." A soft voice spoke, Renesmee's. That broke me, if I play with Renesmee, touch her for even a second her human side could be weaker than Alice and kill her in an instant. I can't. I could hear Bella and Esme trying to talk to me but I just stood up and ran, jumping out the window and into the trees. I stood on a branch and jumped through the air into the tree tops. Completely afraid of what could happen. I jumped from tree to tree for a while just feeling the breeze, up the mountain, sparkling as the light hit my skin. I stood on the top of the hill, breathing heavily; I yelled, screaming at this world causing birds to fly away in terror; afraid of me.

Running through the forest, as fast as I could; the rush of the wind and earth. I ran, trying to get away but I just found myself alone in the woods, no idea where I was or where I was going. I stood in the clearing looking around for my next move till I heard a deep growl. I turned to see a huge black furred wolf. I gasped and realized I had stepped onto Quileute territory and no one knows of me becoming apart of the Olympic Cult. The full black wolf growled at me and bared his teeth, stepping back as if to launch at me. In one swift motion the wolf jumped at me as I lifted up my palms and suspended a rock from the forest ground but Just as I tossed it at the wolf my body hit something hard. I opened my eyes to see a pale boy with brown hair with his arms wrapped around me, holding me against a tree.

"They were right, you are powerful." the boy said with a smirk and spun around and covered me as the wolf growled at us. He hissed causing the wolf to bare back only slightly before jumping toward us but the boy grabbed me by my waist and jumped into the trees away from the wolves that were gathering around. I hung my arm around his neck as he jumped from branch to branch. He stopped when he felt we were far enough from the wolves and dropped back down to the ground with ease. He set me down on the ground and smiled. "Are you okay, Darling?" the boy asked me. "I'm Alec." he spoke, taking my hand in his; his light grip around my fingers. I quickly pulled away.

"Don't touch me. I'll just hurt you." I cried out, pulling away from him and running away. He chased after me and grabbed me stopping me; holding me up in the air.

"I can take care of myself." Alec told me. "So it is true, you have the spirit." Alec stated more than questioned.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I must leave." I said quickly and moved in one quick motion and stopped at a tree a few feet away but Alec followed me.

"Poppy," Alec spoke.

"How do you know my name?" I snapped not letting him finish his sentence.

"That's not the point. Just let me help you, Poppy." Alec spoke taking my hands in his and bringing them to his soft lips. he held my hands together in his and looked at me oh so intensely. I whimpered out a 'don't' but he just breathed an unnecessary breath. "Just relax. You won't hurt me. Just breathe." he spoke kindly. I took a deep breath and that cloud that was slowly coming into my vision was gone and Alec was fine. I smiled but he did not let go of my hands.

Esme pulled me into a loving yet tight hug the moment I appeared in the doorway. I made sure to keep the palms of my hands off of her but hugged her back because she seemed so worried.

"Why did you run away, Poppy?" Esme cried out softly and worried. "Edward opened your door and you were gone we have been so worried." She added giving me another hug.

"Don't worry. I brought her home safely." Alec cooed as he showed up in the doorway catching the rest of the guys off guard.

"Alec Voultiri?" Carlisle questioned in an intrigued tone as he quickly moved across the room behind Esme. "Why are you here?" he asked Alec. Alec moved standing beside me with a breeze from the door that was closed.

"Aro received information on the creation of a new born that is very powerful and sent me to see if the information was indeed correct. Now that I have verified this new born I would like to take her with me back to Italy. From what Aro has been told this girl is strong and has a power that has not been seen in centuries. I would like to take her with me to be on the guard." Alec explained, still stiff and speaking in monotones. Esme sighed and took my hand.

"You may leave if you want, Poppy. None of us will hold that against you." Esme told me, Bella nodded in agreement but Alice looked quite sad before she nodded as well. I looked around at my 'family' then at Alec whose face had not shown a single emotion. I couldn't speak; I had no idea what to do. I wouldn't want to go off to another country where I don't know a single person but going with Alec could help me control this power that I have. I don't want to hurt anyone.

I felt a strong hand on my shoulder and kept my head down as Alec tightened his grip the loosened as if to comfort me.

"You don't have to decide now. I will be staying in town for the next few days and use that time to convince you." He told me with a sly smile that turned more into a frown as he stepped forward toward Carlisle.

"Rosailie, Alice, make our guest feel welcome." Carlisle told the girls, Alec bowed slightly toward Carlisle and Esme and made his way toward the living area. Bella stood beside me and lightly hugged my shoulders as I just pondered my choices.
