I told Esme I was going for a walk. Alec was in Carsile's office speaking with him about something and Alice wasn't helping me too much with this decision. I just need to clear my head and instead of just a run through the woods I just went for a walk into Forks.

It was cloudy and drizzling; I pulled my arms into the sleeves of my sweatshirt and put the hoodie up over my wet stringy blonde hair. I put my hands in my pockets and made my way down the side walk watching my sneakers hit the wet pavement. I noticed the way my sneakers squeaked when they hit a puddle but that was just a distraction from all the things running through my mind. I watched all the young people in town shopping and spending time together. The school is out at this time and all the young teenagers are gathering together and going home or into town but because of the light shining through the rainy clouds I had to stay away more toward the forest. I don't belong in the real world anymore, I don't belong with the Cullens either. I'm different from everyone.

I stood off to the side just watching the people. I don't even remember a life before this. I sighed in slight depression when I heard a scamper in the woods, much too quiet for anyone without super hearing. I turned, inspecting the scene but in a matter of moments my vision was blacked and I felt a body hold me down. I screamed as loud as I could but my screams were muffled by a cold hand over my mouth. Everything went quiet.

--

I awoke to a pounding headache and my eyes were covered in a room blacked out of any light. My arms were restrained behind my back by tight ropes that I could easily get out of if I didn't feel so weak. I sat on my knees underneath me on cold hard cement ground. I felt a cold wall behind me as well. I wiggled to get out the rope, moving slowly to loosen the rope behind my back till it slipped off my thin wrists. Once my hands were free I took off the blindfold that covered my eyes. My eyes took a few moments to adjust to the darkness till I found I was in a concrete wall holding cell. I tried to stay completely silent as I made my way toward the holding cell door. The door was completely patted down with locks but there was a small bar window.

I listened carefully and could even hear people talking but I still wasn't sure how I was going to get out of this place and back to the Cullens. I gripped the metal bars between my fingers and pushed myself up to look over the rock wall, trying to see the light. I saw young people, no one over the age of thirty. They were scary looking with hard features. I couldn't see clearly but they certainly didn't look human or even completely vampire. I tried to get a better look but my foot slipped on the wet rock and made a noise. One of the creatures snapped their head toward me. I quickly ducked and ran back over to my corner as a secret door slowly opened by one of the creatures. He popped his head past the wall and watched me intensely as I pretended to be asleep but I felt an inch on my leg and jolted.

"She's awake!" the man growled his voice much deeper and malevolent than some normal human's voice. He seemed very sinister as he glared at me and let in two other "men" before making his way over to me with a smirk on his face. His pale fingers, scratched me as he gripped my arm and pulled me off the ground. Two other men held me as I kicked and yelled but they were so much stronger than I am. "Make sure not to let her touch you." The main creature spoke as his long sharp crawl like fingers held my arms behind my back leaving my hand immobile.

"What do you want with me?" I yelled, trying to get from his grip but all it did was hurt me. He ignored me and just led me down the hallways of an enclosed building, with no windows. I saw more creatures pass by me. They looked past me not even noticing me like robots. They looked like other vampires but with different sharp features that made them so much scarier. Eyes that were hard deep black and slightly closed, giving a tunnel vision that would be good for hunting; hands that looked like claws at the finger tips; skin pale and corpse-like. All of their features hard and stiff, moving quickly past me like some kind of animal. Different from vampires; Something Evil.  The creature took me to a medical room, with a metal surgery table, mortician equipment and chains on the wall. Two of the creatures held me tight and tied me with chains with impressive speed, faster than any vampire I have ever seen. "What are you?" I yelled at them as they walked away.

"Don't worry. You'll be one of us soon." The creature spoke, chuckling deep in his throat as he left, locking the door and leaving me on the cold tiled floor with my wrist and ankles chained in cold shackles on the wall.

---

I felt myself being weaker. My skin had a shine that it usually didn't have. I needed to feed; my blood lust was uncontrollable. I had been kept on my knees with my arms chained with silver to the surgery room wall for six days. The white was making me go crazy. I tried breaking myself free many times but the silver burned and would not budge. I had my eyes closed as my head hung toward the floor and my arms relaxed behind me. I couldn't fight no more.

The door creaked with a large slam of metal on tile. I saw one of those creatures, not lifting my head but still looking from behind my bangs. The creature walked over to me and grabbed my face in his cold claw hands, squeezing my cheeks. He made me look up at him and inspected my face, my eyes glassed over my face skinny and corpse-like. He smirked, giving me an evil look.

"She's weak. It's time!" the creature growled, quite happy. He walked away from me when three other creatures walked into the operating room. Two walked up to me and started pulling at the chains, the silver not bothering their skin at all as they unchained me and let me down to the ground. Another creature picked me up and placed me on the metal operation table. They chained me to the four corners and hovered over me. Two creatures dressed in white clothes and surgical masks walked into the room and washed their claw like hands while other took out metal boxes with surgical tools and some tools very foreign to the medical world.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I spoke, my voice cracked and broken. A creature stood over me with a needle in his hand as he put some serum inside and flicked it with his long finger nail. I thought to myself, no andesitic would work on me.

"You have a power we need. The one power that can truly defeat a vampire in an instant. Even the most powerful of the vampires. We want that power. You can give us that power. You are a weapon and once I am finished with your operation you will be just like us and more powerful than you ever could be. Now sleep." The creature spoke injecting me with the serum. It wasn't some usual andesitic it caused a pain spike threw me and cause myself to serge in pain but my arms and legs are chained. I struggled getting a pain deep inside me much like when Carlisle first changed me. But within a minute or two my eyes began to close and myself drift off into a coma. The last thing I saw was the creature reaching toward me with a scalpel. Someone save me.
