I stare down at my paper
Blank.
I click my pen,
I tap the desk,
I try to figure out what I want to say
But the truth is...
What I want to say can't be written on paper
If I start writing, I'll never stop
You were there for me when I was alone
You showed me how to laugh in my darkest hours
You taught me how to take my weakness and make it my strength.
I saw in you the strength I wish I had
I saw in you the dedication I wanted to possess
From day one you had me whipped
You with your thick, auburn hair
Your ocean eyes that look emerald green at times
Your smile that melts my heart
How I wish to be engulfed in one of your hugs,
Head pressed to your chest as your arms tightly wrap around me.
How I wish I could tell you in person what you mean to me
One day.
Shane lee yaw, one day this will no longer be a fantasy,
But a reality.
