Sam was playing guitar. Madie was sitting near him closing her eyes, getting lost in the music.
"It felt really good", Sam said after his guitar playing ended.
"It was beautiful as always", Madie said smiling.
"Dinner's ready!" Ms. Doli called from the downstairs.
"Coming!" Sam said standing up. "Let's go!" He said pulling her.
"I need to take medicines", she said moving away his hand.
"Medicine?"
"My leg."
"Oh God! What happened?!" He asked sitting on knees in front of her.
"I fell off the stairs when I was going to find you last Wednesday", she replied sadly thinking about the incidents of last week.
"You were going to find me?"
She nodded.
"I'm really sorry", he said rubbing her ankle.
"That's alright. You're back. And everything is fine now", she said smiling.
He smiled back leaving the room.
Madie walked to close the balcony door where she found a familiar shadow.
"Raoul?" She whispered.
He took a step forward coming into light. She smiled widely at him.
"Missed me?" He asked smirking. Hallucinations have feelings like human, right?
"Any doubts?" She asked walking closer with a wide smile.
"Who are you talking to?" Sam asked peeking from doorstep.
"None."
"C'mon then, everyone is waiting!"
"Yes, everyone is waiting. Don't think about me. I'm always with you. Always remember, when you need me, think about me from your heart. I'm always inside of that little, hidden chest of yours", Raoul said slowly behind her.
She turned around and saw him fading away. Her eyes widened. Is he leaving forever?
"What are you staring at?" Sam called angrily.
"Nothing. Let's go."
