I woke up to an alarm ringing in my ears.Reaching out to the alarm, i finally shut it off. I lazily got out of bed to get a shower . After spending almost half a day i finally got out of the shower and wore my clothes for today.
I headed downstairs to the kitchen and leaned on the counter greeting my mum
"G,morning mum!"
"Good morning honey! How are you today?"
"Im fine mum. Never been better. How are you?"
"I'm doing good sweetheart. So where's that boyfriend of yours?" She asked smirking
I groaned "ugh mum! How many times do i have to tell you that Michael is not my boyfriend. He's just a friend of mine and we're really close" I said annoyingly.
"Yeahyeah sure dear, whatever you sayy" she teasingly sung and then went out of the kitchen to the tv lounge. I went back to my room and started listening to greenday.
After sometime i heard someone knocking on my bedroom door
"Come in" I said.
Once i saw who it was, i smiled widely greeting the messy haired boy who was now sitting on my bed with me.
"Hey Mikey!"
"Hey babe,How are you?"
"Im good. What about you?"
He sighs happily before saying " Never been better"
"So,what do you want to do today?" He asked
"Hmm, i really wanted to have a movie marathon with my best friend. Sounds good?"
"Yup definitely😁, you pick out the movies while i go and get some stuff for our marathon"
"Hehe ok" i giggled.
"Oh Y/N, your mum told me that she was going to work when i got here so i just wanted to let you know that"
"Ok Mikey, thanks😊"i smiled nicely.
"See u in a bit Y/N!" He called down the hallway.
Knowing Michael, he never comes home early when it comes to food and drinks.
So i got bored and decided to check instagram.
While i was scrolling down, i saw a picture of me and Michael that he posted an hour ago. I liked and commented
"wow #bestfriendgoals ❤❤🤘🤘".
But as i scrolled down the comments, i saw some hate ones and decided to ignore them but one out of them all caught my eye and it said
"What kind of a girl is Y/N? She's such a slut. She always hangs out with other boys too not only Michael. She should go kill herself cuz no one wants her in this world.
You should die @Y/IG/N (your /instagram account/name) , you dont deserve Michael
You deserve nothing but hurt and failure and you should go slit your wrists cuz thats all you ever do"
It broke my heart knowing that the cutting part was once true and i promised Michael i would never do that again but this hate got the best of me
I broke down in tears and started screaming. I ran to my bathroom and got out some of my long lost friends that i had been hiding from Michael and started doing the thing that i stopped doing before, cutting myself.
I kept on cutting until i heard a familiar gasp, i looked up and Michael was standing there with tears in his eyes.
He came close to me and immediately crashed onto me hugging me tightly and he kept on pleading me telling me to stop as i cried uncontrollably on his shoulder
He kept rubbing small, comforting circles on my back until i calmed down.
He looked towards me and asked
"Why Y/N? Why would you even think doing this again? I thought you stopped."
"I'm so so fucking sorry Michael. I know i promised you that i would never do this again but im sorry, that hate got to me and i just couldnt take it anymore and im sorry"
He sighed deeply before saying,
"Its ok ,im sorry about the hate. I should have told them to stop saying such things but i didnt, im sorry for that and if u ever get hate again please tell me so i can do something about it. Cutting isnt always the answer. You can get through this and i know you can. I'l be there with you every time you need help or everytime you feel down, just promise me that you wont ever do this again."
"I promise Michael" i said while whimpering.
"Oh thank goodness, cmon now lets get you cleaned up"he said before helping me stand up and washing my cuts and bandaging them.
"There! All done, now lets start the movie marathon" he said excitedly going into the room and picking out a random movie and joining me on the bed.
We had fun while watching movies and eating candies and pizaa and popcorn. Turns out i had alot of fun than i even imagined
It was 5am in the morning and we were finally done with the movie marathon and finally decided to sleep.
"Hey Michael! Thankyou so much for being there for me. I love you best buddy❤" i kissed him on the cheek before finally shutting my eyes and falling into a deep and peaceful sleep.
What i didnt hear was that Michael heard what i said and he replied
"I'll always be here for you babe" pecking your forehead gently before he finally went to sleep with you by his side.
