Challenges

Today's Monday. Yesterday my only family died and none of my other relatives wanted to take me in. I don't really mind though because I can do better on my own than living with fake people who pretend to care. It may be a challenge but what's life without any? My house was the only thing I had left to remind myself that I'm still alive. That my family are watching over me from heaven. That my family want me to be happy. That my family want me to do my best. It was heartbreaking though to see random people come into my house and take away all of my family's stuff. Their clothes, their jewelry, everything they owned. I was only fortunate that my family's lawyer allowed me to keep the house, my stuff, and some of my family's stuff.

My family's lawyer allowed me to keep all of our pictures, my mother's favorite and most prized possessions which was her grandmother's pearl ring on a chain along with a ancient gold stopwatch, my father's gold watch that was given to him by his great grandfather, and my brother's specially made silver chain that had a pendant in the middle which could open and showed a picture of my family.

The funeral is planned to be next week. No one wanted to help me plan it out, so I was forced to do it all on my own. I had to get three brand new jobs in order to pay for the house, taxes, funeral, and food. Now that I'm on my own there are more challenges but I can get through....hopefully.

Now I have to go to school. Everybody at my school already knows about what happened,mouth I won't let that bring me down. I do and try my best for my family. It's what they'd want. I walked my way to school and met up with Jennie and Lisa. We all weren't feeling too good with my family's deaths because they were all so dear to us, but if we were to fall or fly we would do it together.

We chatted for awhile until the bell rang and we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. In first period since I had PE Ms. Lee was nice enough and gave me a chance to not do PE, but I declined and told her that I wanted to do well in school. I had noticed that Jungkook and Taehyung had been keeping an eye out for me all throughout first period, but I ignored their worried stares and kept going on. Second period went by surprisingly fast and now I was walking into third period.  When I sat down, I was confused when Yoongi had sat down in the empty seat next to me.

I turned to look at him and said, " Why're you sitting here Casper? " He fake pouted and said, " Why is something wrong with sitting next to Casper? " I nodded my head and said, " Yea because you're an Asian Casper and I don't want any of your weird chopstick or bamboo haunting near me. " He laughed slightly but didn't move when the bell rang. I sighed and went on with the day.

-Time skip to lunch-

Finally it was lunch time. I packed up my stuff and made a beeline for the cafeteria. I sat down at my usual table and waited for Jennie and Lisa to come over after getting their lunch. Once they came over, they sat down and we started chatting about random things. Suddenly Lisa asked, " Wait, what if parents told their kids about Santa Claus to get them to be good? " I gave her a weird look and said, " I still wonder about what goes through your mind sometimes, but then again I wouldn't really wanna know. " Jennie laughed at what I said while Lisa pouted slightly before shrugging and continuing her eating. After we finished eating, we still had some time left do we decided to go out and onto the blacktop where other people go to play sports and do whatever.

I saw BTS playing basketball and I suddenly felt like joining them. Right when Jungkook was about to shoot into the hoop, I had run up to them and stolen the ball out of mid air. Jennie and Lisa laughed loudly, at his Jungshook face, while walking over to watch. I dribbled the ball over to the other side of the court and slam dunked the ball into the hoop. I cheered for myself for a few seconds until I saw that Yoongi had gotten the ball and was on the other side of the court about to shoot it into the hoop. I raced over and again knocked the ball out of midair, taking it back to the other side and shooting it into the hoop successfully. I clapped and cheered with my teammates who happened to be Jimin, Hoseok, and Taehyung. On the other team was Jin, Yoongi, Namjoon, and Jungkook. I continued to make hoops for about ten more times when suddenly I was lifted into the air by a pair of arms. Jungkook's.

I tried my best to escape his grasp as Yoongi had taken the ball away from Jimin and made it into the hoop. Once Yoongi had made it into the hoop, his team had continued to catch up to my teams until they won. The entire time I was stuck in the muscle pigs grasp. Once the game was over,Jungkook placed me down and I smacked his arm saying, " That's not fair. You guys cheated. " He laughed at me and stuck out his tongue at me. I was triggered.

Soon everybody was watching and laughing as I chased a screaming Jungkook who was calling out for his hyungs to save him. I managed to catch him and I gave him a hard slap on the back of the head saying, " That's not what you do to me. Your only allowed to stick your tongue out at the others got it?! " He nodded and ran away to hide behind Jin. I laughed victoriously and walked over to where the others were now sitting in the field. I plopped down next to Jennie and we all decided to play games.

We ended up playing mafia and we were all deciding on who to kill. On the count of three we all pointed at someone. I pointed at Jin since I thought that he was the mafia. We all soon burst out laughing at Yoongi who had decided to kill himself. I laughed so hard that tears were coming out of my eyes. Once everybody had calmed down we continued on the game until the bell rang.

We all said goodbye and hurried off to our classes before we were late. The rest of the school day went by fast il it was finally after school. I couldn't meet up with any of the others because I had work.( Right after school I worked at the convenience store from 2:30-5:30 then right after my shift at the convenience store I worked at a cafe from 6:40-8:55 until it was time for my shift at a famous restaurant from 9:10-12:15. After I finished with work, it takes about 20 minutes to get home. Once I get home I take a shower and do my homework which takes about 30 minutes until I finally get to bed at 1 and wake up again at around 6:30-7:10. )

I made my way to the convenience store and began my shift. Eventually after long hours, I was finally home and done with showering and homework. I was so exhausted that right when I plugged in my phone to charge and lied down on my bed, I had passed out.

Life was going to be hard for a long time and I knew it, but even though there are many challenges I'd try my best to overcome them.
