The Moon's Embrace

The ride to her home unfortunately didn't take very long.  Her home was a cute little cabin nestled at the end of a long driveway that backed up against the woods.  What was surprising was that these were the woods at the edge of his pack's land, she lived in his territory for all this time and he still hadn't come across her until tonight.  

As he helped her down from the truck and closed the passenger door he didn't want this night to end, he had just found her, it couldn't already be over.  "How long have you lived here?" he asked, needing to know how long she had been at a arms distance without him knowing. 

"Oh I got here three months ago.  I was trying to get away from my tiny little town in Ohio, and ended up in an equally tiny town here" She laughed shaking her head and digging through her impossibly tiny purse for her keys.  

"I have lived here my entire life, I'm surprised this is the first time we have ever crossed paths" He said standing behind her, taking in another breath of her scent. 

"I only go out occasionally, I spend most of my days working and then come home to relax. I'm pretty boring, all this is way too much for me" she blushed gesturing to her outfit and the night in whole. 

"Well I am extremely glad you did come out tonight, even if it had to end like that.  Where do you work, in case I ever need to call on your services for anything" He tried to smirk at her, it fell instantly when she let out a very unladylike snort and started cracking up. "What's so funny little luna?" he asked giving her a genuine smile, unable to fight the feelings her laugh caused in him.

She composed herself, somewhat, "I work at Wedded Bliss, Ms. Gunther's shop in town.  So I guess if you are getting married anytime soon or if you know anyone getting married please send them my way" She beamed up at him.  He instantly saw her in a white dress coming towards him down an aisle, looking as magnificent as the moon goddess herself.  

He chuckled looking down at the ground having to shake those thoughts from his mind, "Well I'm not in need of those particular services at this moment, but if any of my friends need them I will definitely send them your way"

"Well thank you kind sir, I'm sure Ms. Gunther will love the added business.  Speaking of which, I probably should head in and get out of this dress so I can get ready for work tomorrow" The thought of her in nothing but her birthday suit had a shot of electricity running straight down to his manhood and he had to use everything in him to not take her inside and rip that dress off himself.  

He cleared his throat and shoved his hands in the pockets of his pants to keep them off of her, he would definitely be needing a cold shower later.  "I know this is kind of out of the blue, but I would love to see you again sometime.  That is if you are ok with that" She looked taken aback by his statement and stared at him in disbelieve for a second. 

"You want to see me again?"

"Yes Malia, I want to see you again" He chuckled, how could this girl not see what she was doing to him?

"Me?" she questioned again pointing at her chest, which he had to keep himself from staring at since they were so nicely on display for his viewing. 

"Yes" he sent her one of his huge smiles. 

She blushed three shades of red at that, "Well, umm, yes.  I would love to see you again too.  I'm working tomorrow"

"You said that already" he smiled again. 

"Right, well umm" she looked so adorable when she was flustered. 

"How about I take you out to lunch tomorrow?" he offered. 

"That would be great, we usually eat at the diner across from the shop. But I'm fine with anything" She beamed up at him. 

God, how he already loved that smile.  "Great then I'll pick you up at 12 and we can go to lunch"

"Oh wait! What about Jenna?" 

"Who is Jenna?" he asked confused as to why this person mattered to them going out. 

"My friend, you met her tonight.  She was the one dancing with Jackson"

"Ah yes her. Well I guess I can bring Jackson along too and we can make it a double date, if you want" 

"Is that ok? I just know she hates eating alone, and we usually eat together everyday"

He chuckled again, he would do anything to see her, even if it meant he had to share the time with his beta and his mate. "No problem, I'll bring Jackson along and we will see you guys at 12 tomorrow"

"Perfect" she smiled up at him. "Well, umm I guess I should be going then" she awkwardly pointed to her house behind her. 

"I guess you should, don't want you too tired for our double date tomorrow" she blushed again at this.  He couldn't help himself, he leaned in and kissed her warm little cheek.  "Good night Malia, I will see you tomorrow" He started backing away to his car.  

She shook herself from what seemed like a trance.  "Good night Alec" her voice sounded like a whisper in the night, but his sensitive ears picked up on it.  He smiled to himself as he got in the truck and watched her enter her house.  With some sadness he started up the truck and drove to the pack house.  He knew that he would dream of her smile tonight and what lay just beneath that alluring dress.
