kagome's pov

I'm getting tired of Inuyasha always running off places and not telling any body. He just got up out of no where and ran off into the forest. I tried to catch up to him but i knew it would be impossible considering he way to fast for me. When i was able to finally catch up with him, i saw that he was standing in front of the sacred tree. The place where he and i first met. I was about to walk up to him and ask why he ran off, but kikyo came out of from behind the tree. Why is it that i wasn't able to sense her before? And why is it i am now seeing her soul collectors. Instead of walking out there like an idiot i decided to hide behind a tree and listen up on there conversation.

"I love you kikyo"said Inuyasha. At that moment it felt like my heart had just shattered into a million pieces 

"what about that girl kagome"said kikyo.

"i do not love her i love you and only you"inuyasha said

"Then what is she to you?" asked kikyo. Please Inuyasha please don't say what i think your about to say.

"she is just a jewel detector, nothing more and nothing less" Noo please tell her your just joking.

Kikyo then looked my way as if she knew i was watching them and looked back to inuyasha."Then prove to me that you love me  and feel nothing for my reincarnation "she said

Inuyasha then grabbed Kikyo by the waist pulling her closer and kissed her. Now i felt like someone was tap dancing on the broken pieces of my heart. I wanted to run as far away as i could, far away from them. I tried to stand up with out making any noise but my stupid leg had to step on a twig. WHY? Kikyo and Inuyasha then looked my way, I saw no point in trying to hide from them. I just simply stood up and walked from behind the tree to face them.

"Kagome let me exp-" I cut him off

"You don't have to explain anything to me....."i told him

I wanted to curse both of them out and yell at Inuyasha about how he lead me on all this time. And to ask him why he would pick a dead clay pot over me. But i knew better, the after math off that would be very shitty

"You followed your heart and chose kikyo and I'm ok with that" I said to him with the most confident smile i could put on.But no matter how hard i tried to hold them back, some of the tears i have been trying to hold back all this time escaped. SHIT!

"Kagome wait "he said.

But i didn't i couldn't . No body in my situation would be able to.I turned around and ran away from them like my life depend on it . I felt a rush of all types of emotions run through me: anger, betrayal, sadness,and the most weirdest of all happiness. I was happy cause like i said before he chose the one he loved the most even though it was kikyo. After all she was his first love. Now i don't have to worry about being compared to her or trying to make myself better than her.

I thought of running to the well and back home but i didn't want to make the others worry, also because i knew that Inuyasha wouldn't have the guts to them what happened, so i ran back to lady kaede's village.
