chapter 6

kagome's pov

When I woke up I was surrounded in nothing but darkness. I had no idea where was. As I looked around I began to see a light and decided to walk towards it. When I got there I was in an open field filled with allot of beautiful flowers. The field seemed so familiar like I had been there before but I couldn't quite put my finger on why. When I turned around there in front of me was In no Taisho and two other people that also seemed familiar but couldn't remember. I could tell one of them was a miko like me and the other was a demon . 

"Hello kagome" taisho said to me

"Hello taisho......am i dead"I asked him

"No, not exactly dead"

"Then why am i here"

"Your here cause you are being reborn"

"What do you mean reborn"

'I mean there is a little more to you than being a miko.....you are also a demon"

In front of me appeared a  full length mirror. In it was a very beautiful woman, I only knew it was me cause when I moved she did too. I looked like myself but different. My skin was a little bit more tanner. My hair was longer and the ends of it were white. My eyes where no longer brown but now a silver color with a purple four sided star on my forehead. Even my nails were a little longer.

"This is who you really are... there is also another reason why you are here"

"what is it"

"Naraku has become stronger....stronger than before, even strong enough to beat sesshomaru" the demon next to taisho said finally speaking up 

"What does that have to do with me"

"We need you to collect the jewel shards and defeat him"said the miko

"How can I possibly do that, Naraku has most of it and I don't think I will be able to get them from him and even if I could I wouldn't be able to do it by myself"

"Who said you would be by yourself , you will be accompanied by sesshomaru. The both of you have to work together in order to defeat Naraku" Taisho said with a smile on his face

"I'm not to sure about that" I said awkwardly scratching the back of my neck

"Don't worry about that ,for now just worry about becoming stronger, mastering your new powers, finding the shards and defeating Naraku

Sesshomaru's pov

I still didn't understand why I kept the miko with us. Maybe it was because Rin wanted us to or was it because she saved Rin's life. I could have just taken her back to my half brother or just leave her somewhere to die but no I still had her with us. Its been awhile since she blacked out. Right now she was laying down across from me while Rin,Jaken and ah-un were asleep.

I decided I to close my eyes and rest for a bit. When I opened my eyes and looked across to the miko to find that she was surrounded by a bright light, all I could see was her silhouette. When the light vanished she looked different, I could still tell it was her but some of her features had changed. She began to walk towards me even though she still seemed unconscious, it was like she was being controlled. When she got face to face with me she reached out and grabbed the arm that my half brother cut off. When she opened her eyes instead of seeing her eyes I saw a light. I could feel power coursing through my body and when she let go, I looked down to find that my arm was back to normal. It was still as strong and still as powerful.

When I looked back up I saw my father standing behind her. He bent down and whispered something into her ears and like that collapsed. My father caught her and placed her back onto the ground.

"Why are you here" I asked him

"I'm here to tell you that you must accompany and protect kagome as she tries to accomplish her mission" and with that he disappeared 

 Inuyasha's pov

Ever since kagome left I couldn't get her out of my mind. I still felt bad for what I did to her. I love kikyo, yet I couldn't help thinking about kagome. I still felt unsure about my decision.

As we were eating kikyo didn't look so good. I got up and walked towards her. But before I got to her she began to levitate off the ground. Souls began to come crashing into her like the one time kagome got kidnapped and her soul went into kikyo.

When she fell back to the ground I could sense that she was a human once again. That could only mean one thing .......kagome was dead.

No pov

All the jewel shards around the feudal area began to glow. They all at once began to come out of the hold of there owners and into the night sky where everyone could see. The shekon jewel was whole again, well that was until it shattered. The hunt for the jewel shards had began once again.

kagome's pov

I was looking into the mirror watching the jewel shards shatter. I looked back up to Taishou with my mouth slightly open.

 "What just happened, how did the jewel shards shatter like that" I asked him

"This is our way of helping you out"the miko said with an evil smile on her face

"Its going to take me forever to get all of those back"

"Well then you better get started"they all said in union

"oh yea kagome before you leave do you know who these two people standing beside me" taishou asked

"No not at all, they seem so familiar to me like I have known them my whole life but i cant remember them,why......who are they."

"As you journey you will remember all of your lost memories of who you are and who these people are"

"Oh and before you leave take this ring it will help you in battle .........and if you ever need help with anything, know that we are always with you" the demon said handing me a beautiful ring.

Hey guys how was the chapter sorry its been awhile since i last updated.  i would have updated yesterday cause we got our wifi back yesterday but when i wrote the chapter i went to get something to eat and when i got back my dad closed the page. so i was like forget this im going to do this later. soooo yea.

For the next chapter i kinda need help with names i could use for the demon and the miko. :(

episode 7- inuyasha cuts sesshomaru's hand off............. i think

episode 14-15- kikyo takes kagomes soul......... i think
