Chapter 8

Kagome's pov

As we returned to camp everything was the same except this time Jaken was awake and he was fuming, I suspect the smell of Sesshomaru's blood had woken him up. Tonight had already been a long night and I was not about to listen to him rant off about me getting lord sesshomaru injured and stuff. 

" You insolent girl how dare you get lord sesshomaru hurt I cou-" he started off yelling but I quickly cut him off

" I swear to you Jaken if you wake up Rin with all your yelling  you will not live to see tomorrow" i said glaring at him 

Just like that he stopped talking and went back to laying down and mumbling stuff about me. I brought my attention back to lord sesshomaru. I set him against a tree and quickly went to get a bucket of water.

I was able to find a nice hot springs near by and grabbed a little bit of water. I grabbed my first aid materials out of my bag and along with the bucket of water walked towards him. I felt a little uneasy and really weird removing him armor and robe. The gash on his chest wasn't as bad as i thought it would be, but it was very deep.

As I cleaned his wound I could feel his eyes on me. This made me even more nervous than i already am. When I finished with the cleaning I finished by sewing the wound up.

I grabbed my supplies and put them back in my bag. I left sesshomaru to himself to finish dressing up while i went back to the hot springs to bathe. The water against my body felt so good and as i sat there every thing that has happened for the past month hit me full blast. I didn't know what to think anymore. I always thought i was just a regular human girl, well despite the being a miko and travailing back in time thing. Never in a million years would i ever think i was half-demon, half-miko, I'm my own worst enemy. 

I needed answers and the only person that i could get any from would be my mother. she had to know something right. she raised me my whole life she just had to know something. The only problem was when would i be able to see her. Would sesshomaru even take me back to the well? there was only one way to find out and that would mean i would have to ask him.

After my little bath i went back to the camp. everyone was asleep well all except sesshomaru who was staring up at the beautiful night sky. I could never tell what he was thinking. He always seems so mysterious.

"Lord sesshomaru i need to go back to my own time era for awhile" i said walking up to him

"very well, I shall take you back to the village" he said not not once removing his eyes from the sky.

After breakfast the next day we set off to lady kaede's village. It didn't take to long to get there, we got there by sunset well at least i did, sesshomaru and I thought it would be better for them to stay back a little so that they would not be sensed by anybody. Me on the other had i had to be quick, this way i wouln't run into anybody. By now they have already sensed my presence. I was sprinting towards the well and i could tell they were sprinting  towards me , good thing i was a faster than i was before in no time i was already at the well and i quickly jumped in.

Inuyasha's pov

Finding out that kagome was still alive  had a big effect on the group. Everyone was back to normal they just felt lonely without her well except for kikyo. No one could figure out how kagome and kikyo could both be still alive. We figured that in order for one to live the other had to be dead. I also thought that now that kikyo was alive she would be the same woman that i fell in love with years ago. At times she seemed so sweet but other times it was as if she was still dead, her whole personality would change but i didn't mind at all.
