lost and found

Shiros POV

We headed to the planet we had the mission on, apparently there was a destress signal from the planet so we need to check it out, we need to get into the galras base since it was supposedly coming from in there. I landed first and got out of black. I looked out for the galra as I went in with the team following behind me, I ushered them to split up and they noded and did so. I went my own way and kept on the look out, I turned the corner and saw two galras coming with a prisoner, I didn't get a good look before I ducked away and waited for them to pass. Once they did I looked at the prisoner from behind and couldn't quite make out who it was but I felt like I knew them, they have longish hair but I'm only seeing the back, I snuck away from them and made my way through the base to find where a destress signal might come from. I didn't find anything but soon enough I heard a scream, but not any scream, lances scream. I ran to the noise and hid where I can't be seen but I can see what's going on. I see lance, he was the prisoner I saw before. He is screaming in pain as they toutrure him for information on voltron. He speaks up. "I haven't seen voltron for over a year... I have no information of value." He says. I'm shocked at the fact that even though he is getting tortured, he still won't give them what they want. I would have. I couldn't bear that pain again. He screamed as they dug into his skin with a knife. I teared up just watching, I knew he couldn't hold out any longer. I was about to attack when lance suddenly got up to his feet and, with the hand cuffs still on, he kicked the two galras and knocked them out with a double spin kick. My eyes widened. "You can come out now shiro." Lance said. I stood up. "How did you know I was there...?" I asked, shocked. He rolled his eyes and got out of the cuffs with no problem. "Lance how we're you able to do that? Actually, never mind for now. You're hurt. Come with me" I said. He walked  with me back to the black lions, he knocked out any galra that came in our path. He looked... oddly beautiful while doing it. I found myself smiling at him unconsciously. Sat on the floor of the lion and closed his eyes, Obviously exausted, "rest for a while, you need it" i said softly. I called the rest of the team in and we left. I looked back at lance and saw he was fast asleep on the floor, he was bleeding so I hurried to the castle. I landed the lion and picked lance up. I walked out of the lion and keith ran to me "is that..." He didn't finish. "Yeah... it's lance" I said. "let's get him to the healing pod." Keith said. I nodded and ran there with lance tightly in my arms, I put him in the pod and waited.

A day later and lance was fully healed. I was the one to catch him as he fell out of the pod. "W-What..." He started. "Hey lance, how are you feeling?" I asked softly and smiled. "Uh... nor too good to be honest." He said quietly. I nodded and placed my hand on his hip. "I'm gonna bring you to my room so you can rest." I said gently. He nodded and I helped him walk to my room, I sat him on the bed and sat next to him. I placed a gentle hand on his back. "So... we're all happy to see you again lance" I said. "Enjoy it while it lasts." He said. I sighed softly. "Why don't you join again...?" I said. He looked down. "I want to... I just... I just cant..." He said "why?" I asked. "I don't think you guys want me in voltron." He said, I shook my head "lance trust me, we need you in voltron. " I said. He looked at me with a small smile. "Okay then... leader." He said. I smiled back, "that's the spirit, now get some rest." I lay him down on the bed and cover him up, I see a tint of pink on his cheeks, he closes his eyes and soon he's fast asleep. I sit on the end of the bed and smile at him, I close my eyes and fall asleep with my back against the wall.

I wake up later and feel something next to me, I look over and see a sleeping lance cuddled into my side. I smile and wrap my arm around him and hold him close, I kiss his head and fall asleep again.

Lances POV

I woke up from the feeling of something on my head. I opened my eyes and saw me cuddled into a sleeping shiro, I smile and peck his cheek before falling asleep once more.

A bit later I woke up from shiro getting up, I rubbed my eyes and yawned. "Oh, morning lance," He smiles at me "you still need rest and I don't think you would do good with all the attention the others will give you so I'll bring you some food" He said, I nodded and smiled softly. "You have gotten alot quieter." He pointed out. "Isn't that a good thing?" I asked. "Nah, I like hearing your voice." He smiled and walked out. I blushed and hid my face in the blanket. Shiro came back in a couple minutes later with two plates of goo, he handed one to me and gave me a spoon. I ate happily and talked with shiro, he seems to like my longer hair. I'm happy about that.

He seems to be a lot more talkitive with me, almost like he loves talking with me, with not many people do. I loved hearing shiros voice it was soothing to hear now... I think I may be falling in love with him....
