When Maia turned 14 years old , her apperances started worrying her. It was like everything was reminding her how she should look like, from magazines to the internet ads.She wasnt what everyone expected as the movies put it , the "new girl" at her school. She wasnt that skinny , tall , athletic girl, she was the girl that would put on larger clothes to be comfortable. Maia was the girl that could never put on tights shirts, because she was embarassed of her body. She was just so concentrated on herself that she didnt see the people that were around me. Her friends, family, and the people that cared about her and loved her. She didnt see that she has a full body meaning, 2 arms, 2 legs, all of her 10 toes and fingers. That she should be gratefull of what she has. She always had the thought in her head that her problems were bigger than the ones in the whole world, when there is people that have problems that cant be solved. Maia thought she wasnt unique, but she learned that she is just like a cattleya, beautiful and authentic in her own special way. She also didnt know that in her future there was going to be someone who would appreciate her the way she is.
