''Siiinbaaaaaaad'' Judal calls out as he reaches the bottom of the stairwell, Sinbad lets out a chuckle ''Yes Judal?'' he questions, not looking away from his computer ''When will you teach me to be gooooood?'' he asks in a singsong voice, gracefully falling over the arm of the couch so that his head is in Sinbads lap ''I won't teach you per-se, More like tell you if you're going wrong somewhere and guide you to make the right decisions'' Sinbad says as he closes the computer and slides it onto the empty side of the couch ''That's not what I signed up for'' Judal pouts kicking his legs that are hanging off the arm of the couch ''You technically didn't sign up for anything'' Sinbad adds.
Judal huffs and rearranges himself to sit on the arm of the couch with his legs arching over where Sinbad sits ''But how are you supposed to make me good if you won't teach me?'' he questions ''I can't teach you because everybody is different. You already have a basic understanding of what's considered right and wrong so the only problem is going to be reinforcing that kind of mindset in you'' Sinbad explains, gently rubbing a thumb along a scar on Judals knee ''Isn't that kinda like mind control?'' the younger boy asks causing Sinbad to laugh ''More like mind alteration, if it was mind control it'd be without you consent; You're the one that came to me and asked so it's more like just changing a bit about how you think'' he explains yet again.
Judal sighs dramatically ''Well that's boring'' he says ''That's life'' Sinbad replies with a chuckle.
Sinbad gently moves Judals legs as he stands up ''Where are you going?'' the younger boy asks ''It's lunchtime silly, I'm going out to eat with some Co-workers'' Sinbad answers as he makes his way over to the front door and puts his shoes on ''Can I come?'' Judal asks with a whine, Sinbad sighs and nods ''Sure, put on something appropriate and you can come with me'' he replies ''What's wrong with what i'm wearing now?'' Judal pouts ''Judal. You're literally wearing a shirt and boxers, that's not appropriate to wear outside'' Sinbad deadpans. Judal whines and goes back upstairs mumbling to himself.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sitting patiently waiting with Judal, Sinbad scrolls through his phone ''So you're meeting your co-workers for lunch at McDonald? Classy Sinbad, classy'' Judal says jokingly, Sinbad shrugs''We all like McDonald so we might as well'' he replies before his attention being drawn to the door ''Siiiiinbaaaaaaad'' a tanned man with unnaturally white hair comes waltzing over followed by two others, one much larger and one much smaller than him.
''Hiya Sharrkan!'' Sinbad greets him with a grin ''Heeeey who's your lady friend?'' the man now known as Sharrkan asks. Judal immediately goes to correct him before a much colder voice cuts him off ''He's with Al-Thamen''. Judal looks up to find the source of the voice and is met with a familiar face. Shrinking back in his seat Judal opts to remain quiet as Sinbad shoots a glare to the smaller man ''I'll talk to you about that later Ja'far, for now Judal is just an acquaintance who we're having lunch with, alright?" To which Ja'far rolls his eyes at, sitting at the booth facing opposite to Judal who is looking everywhere but at him. Sinbad sighs pinching the bridge of his nose "Please don't start anything here, Judal really isn't that bad a guy." Ja'far snickers "Of course he isn't, and you're not a pervert." he adds sarcastically "Guyyyyys it's too early to fiiiiight" Sharrkan says with a whine "Sharr, it's one pm" the unnamed man who looks like he could be a professional wrestler deadpans "Exactly Mas! Too early for fighting!" Sharrkan retorts "Masrur, Sharrkan, both of you quit your quarreling" Sinbad injects sternly, shooting warning glares at the pair. Sharrkan huffs crossing his arms over his chest as Masrur sits down beside Ja'far, pulling the smaller male who he'd been momentarily arguing with to sit on his lap. Sinbad facepalms while Judal is shaking where he's sitting, opting to cross his arms and lay his head on the table he tries to ignore Ja'fars stare burning holes into his head "You alright?" Sinbad questions, putting his hand gently on Judals upper back, the boy mumbles from his spot "Not feeling too good..." He trails off quietly, trying to finish the conversation to bring the attention away from himself "Do you want to go to the bathroom for a moment? Or step outside and get some fresh air?" Sinbad asks, concern obvious in his voice. Judal slowly rises from his seat and nods, attempting to step out between the table and Sinbad and instead falling over onto him with a surprised squeak as he grabs onto the muscular upper arms wrapped around his own to keep him from falling "Are you sure you're alright?" Sinbad asks again for what seems like the hundredth time "Y-yea just dizzy, I must've just got up too fast" Judal replies standing up, brushing off the occurrence he makes his way over to where the bathrooms are, swaying ever so slightly as he walks until he is out of sight of the rest of the group.
Once Judal had disappeared into the bathroom Ja'far speaks up "He's probably gone to shoot up" he mutters coldly "Ja'far!" Sinbad exclaims angrily "Look at his arms Sinbad! You can't tell me that those aren't recent!" Ja'far angrily points out. Sharrkan is frantically whispering at the two to stop "You're making people look! Keep it down would you?" He whisper yells. Huffing, Ja'far crosses his arms over his chest leaning back in his seat "I still stand by what I said" he says calmly "That's fair, you don't have the best past with him. But for now could you please not talk about it until I can explain it to you in private?" Sinbad asks, just as calmly as Ja'far. Opting to stay silent Ja'far simply nods. Sinbad sighs, figuring that this is the best he'll get out of him now.
Moments later Judal has exited the bathroom, his body swaying as if he has no control of it and his eyes cast downward. He once again trips over Sinbad as he tries to return to his seat but this time he makes no attempt to get up, shivering and tiredly clinging to Sinbad with a whimper. "Judal, what's wrong?" Sinbad asks as he wraps his gentle arms around the smaller males waist, holding him gently close to him. Judal whines and shakes his head, clearly not wanting to talk about it. ''Judal...'' Sinbad sighs ''I can't help if I don't know what's wrong'' he points out. Judal shakes his head again ''-Don't want help, s'my fault'' he mutters into the bunched up fabric of Sinbads clothes that he's clutching in his shaking hands.
''Maybe he just needs to cool down? It is pretty warm today'' Sharrkan points out. Sinbad nods silently and stands up, still holding Judal in his arms ''Sorry about this, you three can stay if you want but I need to make sure he's okay'' Sinbad explains, glancing to the smaller male in his arms ''It's fiiiiiine Sinbad, we totally get it'' Sharrkan reassures, leaning back onto Masrur.
Nodding, Sinbad picks up his bag. Slinging it over his shoulder carefully before making his way out the door and carrying Judal outside with him. Since he hadn't brought a car with him, Sinbad decides to call a cab, sitting down on the curb of the road with Judal while he waits.
Tiredly, Judals body slumps against Sinbads. He leans against him and closes his eyes, heavy breathing and a running nose as he sniffles every so often. Sinbad runs his fingers through Judals unbraided hair, cascading down his back like a curtain ''Will you please tell me what's wrong?'' Sinbad asks in a hushed tone. Judal makes a snicker like sound as he brings his hands up to hold his upper arms ''You've seen them haven't you? The marks?'' he asks, shivering as he curls up closer to Sinbad, seemingly loosing all of his body heat ''It shouldn't be that hard to figure out'' Judal finishes, hiding his face in the fabric of Sinbads clothes as if he's ashamed to talk about it ''Well what were you taking? I'm sure I can get some of it to help you quit slowly instead of having withdrawals like this'' Sinbad asks. Judal shakes his head at his words ''It's not that simple Sinbad, It's a special kinda drug. Al-Thamen came up with it themselves, can't find anywhere else'' he replies, his eyes growing heavier by the second. Sinbad sighs, he's at a loss of what to do. He doesn't want Judal getting ill because of withdrawals but there's no way he's going to Al-Thamen for a drug, especially since he doesn't know what's in it. He can only hope Judal will be alright in the meantime...
