The EEF.
Guarded 24/7, electric fences, straight-jackets, you name it, it's used to "protect" both the general public and those within the facility. Or rather, to keep its occupants in, and everyone else out.  A labyrinth of pitfalls and traps. Get lost, and you'll never make it out, to either side, alive.

The sunlight blinded me as I was forced out of the back of the car. Not that it lasted long, for I was gagged and blindfolded almost as soon as I stepped out. When humans lose their sight, they become paralyzed with fear. Not to mention, I was six and had just endured a situation unlike any I knew, and still know to this day. I had to idea what was going to happen to me.

I don't remember much of this part, I was mostly sobbing into the blindfold. I recall being hit and shouted at, being told to shut up, but I don't believe they said much more to me.
We entered a room after going through countless doors and passageways, up and down stairs, and through twisting corridors. The air whistled around the drafty building, the route which seemed to go on forever. I was practically thrown into the seat and I remember long conversations, droning voices about me. An account of the event that had just taken place. During all this I had no option but to remain silent. I didn't understand at that point what was happening, the only sound echoing in my head was the question I asked myself, which anyone in a situation such as this would ask; "Why me?"

I remember being stripped down and protesting, crying for my parents, wishing I had love, but what did I know.
The woman who stripped me threw me into a basin of almost frozen water. It stung it was so cold. I shiver just remembering it.
Then I was dressed and shackled, pulled down a long, long corridor and hurled sideways into a small room. I remember looking up at the solemn face of the guard as he slammed
  the door

                        firmly

                                                                 shut.
