I wasn't truly paying attention to the guards shuffling me along until I realized we'd passed the cells I thought we were going to. Panic, followed by a wave of adrenaline flowed over me, forcing me to tense up and almost freeze where I was .
Huh? ...what? I've never been here before.... "Where am I being taken?"
I forced this last phrase out and turned to the stone-faced guards. Well, no help there.
Fear raced down my spine, leaving behind goosebumps, and a dreading feeling. I dug my almost non-existent nails into my forearm and grinned, trying to stop the shaking. And failing.I'm basically useless without my quirk so all I can do is freak out, I thought, my eyes glued to the sight before me.
