Ako's POV

I stretch my arms as I let out a sigh when I exit the interview room. "Is everything okay Ako-chan?" Kirara asks.

I smile. "Yes. It's just that I had a hard time to fall asleep last night."

"Oh okay... Were you thinking of somebody?" She makes a devilish grin.

"W-What?"

"You know. One of the reasons of why people can't fall asleep is because they were thinking about somebody else. Someone important." She starts leaning in.

I quickly wave my hands and look at my side. "I-It's nothing like that! Since when are you like that?"

She just sticks out her tongue.

"Well I have to go. See you later Ako-chan." She waves.

I wave too. "Bye Kirara."

When I can't see her anymore, the blush that I tried to hide came. My face was now very hot and I can't help it. Kirara was right. The reason why I couldn't fall asleep is because I was thinking about Kanata.

"That looks more like admiration than love, in my opinion."

Thanks to him, I realized that I wasn't in love with Subaru. Maybe I never ever did. Maybe it was just a too deeply admiration that I confused with love. But now... I don't know what to do. What to feel.

My mind starts thinking about Kanata. He helped me many times and, even though I don't like to admit it, I like to know that I can count on him whenever I need him. He will always be there to support me, to give me advise or just listen when I need to unburden. Because that's the type of person he is.

I didn't realize that I had got out of the building when I bumped into someone.

"Gomenasai." I say not looking up as I continue walking.

"It looks like you are in a hurry." A too familiar voice said.

I stop and turn around to see a disguised Kanata. Great, just what I was needing...

"Oh, hm... Hi." I awkwardly say. I really didn't want to talk with him. Not because I didn't want his company but because my heart seemed that it didn't want to calm down.

He moves closer to me. "Hi."

I try to look anywhere but his eyes. When I was about to give an excuse to leave he said:

"Do you want to go to a cafe?"

I blink twice, digesting his words. "A cafe?"

"Yeah. I have time until my next time job so I figured that I could spent that time with you." I blush a little from the last part. "Unless you have to be somewhere."

"Yes. I-I mean no. I mean..." I pause, thinking about what I'm going to say. "I have time too. I can give you the pleasure to be with me for awhile." I close my eyes and wave my hand next to my face dramatically.

He giggles. "Thank you very much." He takes my hand, the one that was waving, and gently kisses the palm of it.

I was taken back from his action. I knew that my mouth was a little open and that I was blushing very much but I didn't care. The only thing that mattered was the warm feeling that started running through my body the moment he took my hand.

I quickly take my hand from his, suddenly feeling my hand getting cold. "W-What was that for?"

"You didn't like it?" He leans to me with a teasing smile on his lips.
