Leaving Miami

Chapter 2

On the drive, Haley continued to read the book. She loves reading. That's why she is such a star student. The book she is reading is 'Good Can Sometimes Be Bad'. She loves it! ' Haley, do you want to go out for lunch'? mom asks. ' Sure', Haley replies. ' Where do you wanna go'? mom asks. ' Ummm... Wendy's'? Haley says. ' Okay'! mom says. And they head off to Wendy's!

Once they get to Wendy's, Haley always gets a regular cheeseburger and fries, so she gets that. Her mom gets a Caesar salad. They find a clean table, grab napkins, ketchup, and straws and sit down and eat.

When they got done at Wendy's, they go home. It was about twenty minutes to home. Haley puts the radio on and hears Pierce the Veil-The Sky Under The Sea. She loves Pierce the Veil and this song. She dances and sings along to the song. She heard a couple more Pierce the Veil songs and before she knew it, thy pulled up to her red brick house. Haley goes inside while her mom reads the mail. Mom opened up a letter,

Dear Mrs Graystone,

We have a job offer at Union Clinic in Arizona for a nurse; twenty-three dollars an hour. If you would like to take the offer, you may call 555-243-9570. Thank you!
