Leaving Miami

Chapter 3

Mom was shocked. She never would have thought she would have gotten that big of a job offer. 'Haley'? mom asks, scared to tell her. 'Yes mom'? Haley replies, concerned. 'Honey, I got a huge opportunity at Arizona. I could earn a lot of money to be a nurse', mom says. 'Oh my', Haley replies, depressed. 'Honey, I'm really sorry, but I'm going to have to take it. It will help out a lot with money', mom says. 'I'll start packing', Haley said sadly.

Haley was putting all her soccer trophies in a big box, along with some medals from soccer also. She couldn't believe they were moving to Arizona. 'What about my friends, school, neighbors'? Haley says to herself. 'Haley, move out day is in 3 weeks, which means you get to finish up school', mom says. 'Okay' Haley replies. That made her feel a little better because she has 3 more weeks with her friends. She was really sad though. She loved Miami. Arizona is way too hot! She continued packing, with sadness.

Days have came by, and only 10 more days until they leave for Arizona. Haley is so nervous. 'Haley, let's go shopping for the last 10 days of Miami,' mom says. 'Okay,' Haley replies.

So they head past the beach, kids laughing and smiling. Haley is sure going to miss Miami.

When they get to the mall, Haley goes into Justice. She loves that store. It's expensive, but they have good sales. She walks around, her eyes glittering, looking at colorful shirts. She grabbed a colorful shirt and ran up to the cash register. She got it 50% off! She walked out of Justice, happy she got a beautiful shirt. Her mom ran into Macy's to pick up shoes she ordered. 'You almost ready Haley'? her mom asks. 'Yep,' she replies. They walk out of the mall and looked for their car. Haley opened the door and enjoyed the last few days in Miami.

When they got home, she continued packing her things. She couldn't believe she only have 4 more days left in Miami.
