"What the fuck is Vidcon?" I say very confused. Mark looks at me like I'm stupid.

"Only the biggest social media convention of the year? I'm doing panels, meet and greets, and just generally hanging out with friends and fans! You guys should come! I'll pay for your flights and everything too. I just don't want to be alone really."

"So now I'm your back up plan?"

"Well my other two friends are getting there on their own means... Plus you guys would love the atmosphere. If you had your own YouTube you could promote it there too."

"Are you implying I should start YouTube? I'm way too shy for that Mark. You should know that."

"Well once upon a time I was too you know. Anyway I'm begging you girls, please?"

"I know Tori would wanna go.... Ugh okay I'll come. When do we leave?"

"Well... About that...."

"I'm listening..."

"Tomorrow? DONT KILL ME." Mark winces in fear as those words escape his lips.

"Jesus. Okay well you're gonna help me pack then sir."

"Already on it! What can I help with?"

"I could use some help with folding my clothes for my suitcase. I'm assuming I need multiple outfits?"

"Seeing as it's for a weekend... I'd bring 5 just in case. Plus we have to appear for events too."

Mark and I make our way to my room. As I'm starting to pack he takes his time adjusting to the surroundings.

"Aw hey, you used to be so cute." He holds up a picture frame.

"What?- oh jeez gimme that." I snatch the photo out of his hands. My curls and my cheeky smile fill the frame. My mother holding me tight. I guess my father took the picture.

I shiver at the thought of him.

I place the frame face down on my dresser and start to pack in silence.

"You okay..?"

"I'm fine." I snap back.

"You're awfully quiet. I'm sorry if I sparked something with that picture I wasn't trying to-"

"Mark. Just leave it, please. It's none of your concern." He nods as I sigh. "Now I need you to fold the stuff I've laid out. I'm going to get something to drink."

"Sir yes sir." He makes a saluting gesture with his arm as I walk out of the room. I check on Tori before I walk to the kitchen.

"Hey T, how's it going? Sorry this is all such short notice. I don't know why he invited us."

"Kaela, I have never seen you act so damn oblivious. But I'm good. Almost done in fact. Ya girl is good at packing." She flexes and chuckles.

"How am I oblivious? To what? I don't even know what you're going on about. Anyway I'm going to get something to drink. Need anything?"

"Oh nothing, but if I were you I'd hit up the pink lemonade vodka we have." She winks.

"Fuck off T." I laugh before I exit the room. I stare at my choices in the fridge. My eyes catch the drink Tori was talking about. "Fuck it." I grab the bottle and walk with it to my room where mark is staring at the bed.

"What are you doing?"

"I feel like you should fold these." My lacy underwear lies on the bed. His face is bright red.

"Mark you're such a child." I take a swig of the alcohol and start folding. Sooner or later we finish.

"Alright I think my work here is done." Mark brushes his hands against each other and looks at the suitcase with pride.

"Don't get so cocky I did most of it." I punch his arm. "Anyway, when did you say the flight was?"

"8 am. Be ready by 5:30. I'll walk over to come get you guys." I nod as we walk to my front door.

"Thanks again Mark, you really are a huge help. I don't know how I could have done that without you."

He puts his hand on the back of his neck. "It's nothing really.. I love being over here anyway. It's fun."

I smile and wave him off before shutting my door and letting out a sigh.

"Fuck. Tomorrow is gonna be one hell of a day."
