The Chance To Hold and Kiss You

Days later, the Princess of Silla, a small group of Hwarang's and my friend Ahro were leaving Silla to try to keep the peace between Silla and another kingdom. I was honestly pissed. I didn't want Ahro to leave but the Princess insisted. From what I've seen, she's a total bitch.

Ahro: While I'm gone, you must take care of the Hwarang's here. If I don't come back, learn from my father so that you can continue helping them.

Minah: Shut up! You're coming back no matter what. Learn from your father yourself so you can continue helping Hwarang. Your dream is to be as great as your father so you will be. You're coming back.

She sighed and hugged me before walking away. I sighed and went into her room. I was busy sewing so probably about an hour passed and I didn't notice until the door opened. I looked up to see Hansung so I just sighed.

Minah: Shouldn't you be busy training?

Hansung: Shouldn't you be busy helping the Hwarang's like me?

Minah: Why are you here? Did you get hurt?

Hansung: Ne. In multiple places.

Minah: Where?

He held out his arm so I started slowly massaging it. He then made me stop and pointed to his shoulders. I started massaging them but then he made me stop again. He then held my hand and slowly put it on his chest. I didn't know what to do so I just looked at him. I could see tears forming in his eyes so I just pulled him into a hug.

Minah: What's going on?

Hansung: (sniffles) Can we not talk about it right now? I just want to hug you. I want you to hold me.

I nodded and hugged him tighter. A few days later, I was walking around Hwarang house until I saw one of the Hwarang's running. I followed him inside and saw him run to the other Hwarang's. I heard him telling the others that Ahro and the other Hwarang's were captured by the other kingdom. I didn't know what to do or say so I waited for the higher ups to decide. They decided to go after the Hwarang's and started preparing for battle. Before they left, I ran to find Hansung and saw him with his brother. I started walking up to them until Hansung and I made eye contact.

Lord Wihwa: Hwarang! Time to head out!

Hansung quickly turned around and walked away without saying anything. That alone was enough to almost make me cry. Hours later, they all came back and I ran to hug Ahro.

Minah: I told you, you were coming back!

Ahro: (smiles) I know. I'm sorry that I worried you.

I hugged her again and we went our separate ways. All the Hwarang's went to the cafeteria to have dinner so I followed. I looked around until I saw Hansung. We made eye contact again but he just ignored me. I started walking towards him until I was stopped.

Sung: (smiles) Hey. You're the other nurse, right? Could I borrow you for a minute?

Minah: Uh. Actually-

Sung: (smiles) Just a minute.

I just nodded and led the way into the medical room. He closed the door behind us and sat down.

Minah: Where are you hurt?

Sung: (smirks) It's actually underneath my clothing. Can I still show you?

Minah: Uhm... Sure.

He took off his shirt and got up. He suddenly started walking towards me and I kept backing up.

Minah: What do you think you're doing? I'm your nurse.

Sung: (smirks) I know.

He started leaning in and I started unsuccessfully pushing him away. He was so close to me until the door swung open. Hansung came in and grabbed him by his arm. He pushed him out and threw his shirt at him before slamming the door shut.

Hansung: (angry) What were you doing with him?! I saw you two leave together!

Instead of yelling back, I felt tears flow down my face and I jumped into his arms.

Minah: (crying) I don't know what that dirty guy was trying to do to me. I'm just so glad you're here and that you're safe.

He slowly sat down and sat me down with him.

Hansung: You stupid girl. Why are you worrying about me?

Minah: (sniffle) I was so scared that I wouldn't see you again. Anything could've happened out there and you didn't give me a chance to wish you luck and to hold you and kiss you before you went.

Hansung: ... You wanted to hold me and kiss me? I thought you didn't trust me.

Minah: ... I just... Wanted to hold you in case anything did happen. I wanted to be the last person you think about. To give you a reason to come back... Even when things feel like hell, I'm here for you. Always.

He just smiled and kissed my forehead. He sent me home and he was the only person I could think about. The next day, I didn't really get to see Hansung. He's been training with his brother a lot but I understand. He needs to become stronger.
