I walked into the cafeteria with the Scott and Stiles after Stiles and I had broken into Coaches office and took his phone along with two of the heart rate monitors. He said it was for his plan to help us control the shift, but wouldn't tell me how. We sat down at our usual table and began talking. I tuned them out when I heard something interesting coming from a certain raven haired beauty by the name of Allison Argent.

"The beast of Gevaudan. 'A quadruped wolf - like monster, prowling the Auvergne and south Dordogne areas of France during the year 1764 to 1767. La Bete killed over a hundred people, becoming so infamous that the King Louie the 15th sent one of his best hunters to try and kill it.'" She said, reading from the book in front of her. I had heard of this so called 'Beast of Gevaudan', it was a terrifying tale that shook me to the core. Don't judge me, I was 4 years old! You would have been scared too. Hearing the name again, after all these years, made my heart skip a beat and sent shivers down my spine. The fact that Allison was talking about the infamous werewolf, and was interested in it, that made me a little scared.

"Boring." Lydia, who was sitting opposite her, stated, looking bored out of her mind.

"'Even the church eventually declared the monster a messenger of Satan.'" Allison continued, trying to get her friend to be the slightest bit interested in what she seemed passionate about. Again, that scares me a little bit.

"Still boring."

"'Cryptozoologists believe it may have been a subspecies of hoofed predator, possibly a mesonychid.'" The young Argent tried again, but failed.

"Slipping into a coma bored..." Lydia criticized.

"'While others believe it was a powerful sorcerer who could shape - shift into a man - eating monster.'" They were correct. Unfortunately.

"What does any of this got to do with your family?" Lydia asked, so I'm guessing Allison is doing this as her project for history. We all had to do some research on our families history. I obviously know a ton about my family history, but I can write none of it down on paper, so I just make the whole thing up. That's due in soon, I should probably start that...

"This. 'It is believed that la Bete was finally trapped and killed by a renown hunter who claimed his wife and four children were the first to fall prey to the creature.' His name was Argent." She stated proudly. Why was she proud? It's not like she did anything to help...

"So your ancestors killed a big wolf... So what?"

"Take a look at this picture. What does that look like to you." Allison showed the redhead a picture in the book, it looked just like the Alpha, but bigger. It had blood red eyes, fur as black as coal and he was carrying the body of a girl he had killed. Just like the Alpha. Lydia didn't answer for a while, in fact, she looked like she had spaced out.

"It looks, like a big, wolf. See you in history!" She finished with a peppy smile and walked off, leaving Allison and the conversation. I turned my hearing off and re-joined the conversation the boys were having.

"You know the book makes it more obvious, right?" Stiles said to Scott who was holding a large book in front of his face, in order for Allison to not see him. I was glad that Scott finally started listening to Derek's advice. He may not be perfect but he does know what he's doing.

"So do you have a plan yet?" Scott asked our friend, I knew that he did, indeed have a plan, but Scott didn't know that we took stuff from Coaches office, because he would yell at us and then tell us not to, so we just didn't tell him.
