Part 11

Abhimanyu- Woah! That's the same show piece I wanted that day at the mall but couldn't.

Natasha- Yeah baby! That's it. That day only I had decided to gift this you on our anniversary.

Abhimanyu- And now that's what I love about you my baby girl.

Natasha- Baby girl? really? :p

Abhimanyu- Yeah! I love this one. Thankyou so much babe.

Natasha- You need not thank me. -_-

Abhimanyu- Ok. Ok. Won't thankyou miss. Lets continue with our food or else we'll have to throw it away.

They finished their dinner. They talked about everything. They remembered all those memories they spent in the last 6 months. Suddenly Abhimanyu got up. It seemed like he had some other things for Natasha too.

Natasha- What happened? Where are you going?

Abhimanyu- Just a minute, baby girl.

Natasha- Yaa okay.

Abhimanyu went to the table. switched on the stereo that played some romantic songs. He asked Natasha to dance with him, And of course Natasha didn't want to spoil the whole romantic mood for the evening by saying a no. She said yes and they started dancing. Abhimanyu held her from her waist and held her other hand in his. Natasha kept her hand on Abhi's shoulder.

Natasha- I'm loving this feeling.

Abhimanyu- Me too!

And then they danced for around 15-20 minutes. Then they both sat together hand in hand, Natasha's head over Abhimanyu's shoulder. The perfect love life that anyone would love to have. Who doesn't want that perfect boyfriend who cares for you, thinks about you well being, understands you , makes you feel special and most importantly loves you more than anybody in this world. This was the perfect time of Natasha's life. The time when she had no issues, no worries. Just her, the person she loved the most and those beautiful moments.

But like nothing lasts forever, so does the good things. Amidst of all these Natasha had something in her mind going on. She was happy with all this around her. But something was haunting her. Something really terrible. It just seemed that Abhimanyu had sensed that there's something going on in her mind.

Abhimanyu- What happened? Are you thinking something?

Natasha- uh! No nothing.

Abhimanyu- Say it na. I'm listening to you.

Natasha- Abhi, actually I wanted to tell you something.

Abhimanyu- Ya tell me.

A silence covered the room for a few moments.

Natasha- This would be our last meeting Abhi.

Abhimanyu- What? This is not a time to joke Natasha, see how romantic is everything.

Natasha- I'm serious Abhi. We won't meet after this.

Abhimanyu- But what's the matter? Why won't we meet after this?

Natasha- Because we can't.

Abhimanyu- But why?

Natasha- Look abhi, I know we have spent so much time together, shared beautiful memories together. But... but we can't stay together anymore. That's it.

Abhimanyu- But atleast tell me the reason.

Natasha- I'm saying for your good Abhi. If we stay together anymore, you'll not be happy with me.

Abhimanyu- What are you saying Natasha? You know how much I love you and how happy I'm with you. And its just 6 months for us to be together. We both know we have to see many more years together. I know there will be some societal issues for us to stay together. And if it's that bothering you then let me tell you we need not fear anyone. We'll fight for our love.

Natasha- No Abhi. Its not that. Its something else.

Abhimanyu- What is it then? Tell me? Is there something in me? Did I do anything?

Natasha- No its me. Its all me.

Abhimanyu- You? What does that mean?

Natasha- Nothing. You'll come to know when times come. I can't make you unhappy right now by telling that. And I'm going I can't stay here anymore. And please Abhi do not contact me please.

A silence broke into the room. All this startled Abhimanyu. He did not know how to react to this. He just saw Natasha taking her stuff and leaving the room. He went into a shock stage where he could not just believe whatever happened a few moments back. The girl with whom he had imagined his whole life left him just like that and he couldn't stop her even after trying.

Everything felt apart in a few seconds. A few seconds ago everything was perfectly fine and now this. His life had suddenly became dark like someone switched off the main power.

And what made him cry his heart out was that he didn't even know the reason why all this happened. What was it that Natasha did not tell him just because he'll be unhappy with that? He was crying from core bottom of his heart. He could not believe what just happened.
