[Sarah's POV]

The week had come and gone fast, just as Amy had predicted. We had made the most of our time by packing for the trip and listening to Panic! on repeat, under Amy's strict orders. She thought it was insane that I was going to a concert of there's and only knew a few songs, and decided to change that for me. I didn't mind if it meant I got to see more video's of Brendon.

"Stalker." Amy's voice rang, knocking me out of my reverie. I had been lounging on the couch, scrolling through photo's of Brendon on Google. To say that my affliction with the man had grown was an understatement. He certainly was beautiful. And talented.

"What?" I said, a pink blush creeping onto my cheeks. "He's cute..." I say, my sentence trailing off.

"And single!" Amy replies, shoving a few more things into her suitcase. Our flight was leaving in an a few hours, but I had already finished packing and was just waiting to leave now.

I laugh at her words. "Okay? And?" I say.  "It's not like we're going to get the chance to meet him. And besides, I'm...technically still with Alex." I say, frowning.

"You never know, Sarah! Stranger things have happened." She says. "As far as Alex goes though, please tell me you're going to dump him when we get back."

I nod my head, "If the 800 texts and voicemails I'm receiving from him are any indication of how pissed off he is right now? I'm definitely not going anywhere near that house once we get back. I'll just have to end things over the phone. As shitty as that is."

Amy laughs. "Shitty person, shitty breakup. It happens." She zips up her suit case and smiles over at me. "But who cares about him? We have a flight to catch!"

Several hours later, we arrive in Los Angeles, Carlifornia. The humidity is more than I had been expecting and I already feel sluggish. We force our way through the city traffic and make it to our hotel room, just in time to change and get ready for the concert. I feel butterflies in my stomach for some unexplained reason. Maybe it's because for the first time in my life, I had stood up to Alex, taken off with my best friend to California, and  were about to go and have one of the best nights of my life. With absolutely nothing to hold me back.

"How are we dressing?" Amy says, rummaging through her suitcase. "Super slutty or emo-chic?"

I roll my eyes, perfectly content with a pair of chucks, skinny jeans, a black tank top and a red and black checkered flannel, tied around my waist. The simpler the better, I thought. "How's this look?" I asks.

Amy smiles, "Very you, Sarah."

"And what's that supposed to mean?" I retort.

"Nothing, nothing!" Amy replies with a soft smile. "You just seem comfortable. More like yourself...and I haven't seen that in a while."

I nod, "Yeah. I feel good." I say, walking into the bathroom to start some light work on my makeup. I never went super heavy, just a little bit of foundation, eyeliner and some mascara with a sheer lip gloss to finish it off. After all, most of it would be destroyed later in the night, from all the sweating we'd be doing from dancing at the concert. I glanced at my phone, it read 6:45pm.

"We should get going!" I yell from the bathroom, turning the light out and walking back out to my friend.

"Of course," Amy replies, topping off her look with a pair of earrings. She fumbles around in her bag for a moment, before pulling out two glossy, laminated badges that are attached to strings. "But we're going to need this too."

"What are those?" I ask, raising a brow at her, fumbling with my ticket which I already held in my hand.

"These, are our VIP passes. For after the concert." Amy responds, as if you obtain VIP passes on the regular.

"What!?" Double checking to make sure I heard her right. "VIP passes?"

Amy nods. "Yup. We get to meet the band! Isn't that neat?"

"Of course! I mean...but - what? how?...who?"

Amy laughs, "I told you, stranger things have happened. But, the VIP came with the tickets. I just wanted to keep them a surprise so that I could...well...surprise you." She says with a shrug. I feel like my heart is about to beat out of my chest and that at any moment, I could die from the excitement of it all. "C'mon," Amy says, bringing me back to reality. "We better go so we're not late." I nod and follow her out the door. As we're making our way into the lobby of the hotel, to get our rental and head to the concert, I only have one thought on my mind.

Holy shit. I'm going to meet Brendon Urie.

A/N: AHHH YAY! The next chapter is one I'm looking forward to A LOT. Brendon's finally gonna enter the picture and things are only gonna get spicy from there ;)
