A/N: What do you guys think of what's happening so far? I love where I decided to take this! I think Bren helping Sarah is just soooo cute. Hopefully you'll all agree!

P.S. The lunchables idea is something I took from an interview Brendon did! He said that he knew Sarah was into him when he made her a lunchables. I thought it was really cute and endearing!

I nod. "Okay." I say quietly.

Brendon nods with a soft smile appearing on his lips. "Good." He says. He gently taps the counter top with his hand, "C'mon. Hop on up." He says. I do as he instructs, hopping up onto the counter, sitting with my legs swinging over the side. He parts my legs open somewhat with his own, coming to stand in between them.

"He got ya good," He comments, as he wets a washcloth, gently taking it to my lip. He gingerly dabs at the wound there, frowning when I wince slightly. "I'm sorry." He says.

"It's okay. It's not your fault." I reply. Brendon nods and continues gently cleaning off the dried blood. Once its cleared away, he dabs a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol.

"This is gonna hurt," He says. "But we don't want anything getting infected." He says.

I nod, taking in a deep breath, doing my best to prepare for it. As he dabs at the wound, I can feel the stinging begin, my lip throbbing somewhat. I wince but before I know it, Brendon's smiling at me. "You took that like a champ, darlin'."

"Thanks," I reply softly.

His hands are at my waist as he gently helps me down from the counter, setting me on my feet. For a moment he's just staring at me, and I feel my cheeks begin to flush pink. No one's ever looked at me the way he has before. "Who could ever lay a hand on a beautiful face like yours?" He comments quietly, seeming to forget that I'm standing in front of him in that moment.

"I-- thank you." I say, acknowledging his compliment. He just smiles at me and I feel my heart soaring. He had a beautiful smile.

"C'mon. I bet you're hungry." He says, taking my hand gingerly as we walk back downstairs. We enter the kitchen, to which he pulls out a chair for me to sit at the kitchen table, as he begins to rummage through his fridge. "Now, I don't have a whole lot." He says. "Like I said. I'm not here a whole lot but, I do have these." He says, coming to the table with two boxes of lunchables, once for each of us.

I look up at him, a small laugh forming on my lips. "You can't be serious?"I ask him.

"Oh, I'm very serious, Sarah. Lunchables are no joke. They are the backbone of this nation!" He proclaims patriotically.  I can't help but laugh now, and it feels genuine, for the first time in a long time.

"Alright, alright. Let's see what ya got, Urie."

Somehow, time had slipped away from us. After Brendon had prepared our delicious meal of lunchables for us, I had called Amy to let her know where I was, we had moved to the couch, where we drank Capri Suns out of their little pouches, and I told him everything that there was to know about Alex and I. From when we first met, to today, when I finally had ended things. Quietly, I sipped on my Capri Sun while Brendon spoke.

"I'm glad you left him." He says. "He clearly didn't deserve you."

I nod, "Yeah. I wish I had done it sooner." I say.

"Me too." He says.

My eyes go wide, but I don't press it any further, knowing I could ask him about it later. "So," I say,  my legs criss cross applesauce style. "Do I get to ask my questions now?"

A smile pulls at his lips, "I did promise. Didn't I?"

"You did!" I say, smiling. "Unless you're a promise breaker." I tease.

"Me?" He feigns shock. "Never." He winks at me. "Go on."

"Okay. First question. What are you doing here?" I ask.

"I told you. I come to visit some old friend's sometimes."

"Yeah, I just...I didn't know you were from around here." I say.

"Not many people do." He shrugs. "Next question."

"How long are you here for?" I ask.

"About a week. Maybe two. We pick up on tour again in the summer. But, I've gotta head back to LA to lay down a few more tracks for the remainder of the album." He says.

I nod, "Fair enough."

"My turn." He says, catching me by surprise.

"What? That wasn't part of the deal!" I say, laughing.

"My house, my rules." He teases, waggling his eyebrows at me. I just roll my eyes. "Go out with me."

I'm taken aback by his words. "What?"

"I'm sorry, that wasn't a question. How's this?" He straightens up, a smile pulling on his lips. "Sarah, would you please go out on a date with me?"

When I don't answer immediately, he seems to grow a little uncomfortable and decides to fill the silence. "I know it's really, really soon. Especially with everything that's just happened but you deserve to know what it's like to have someone who actually cares about you. To take you out and show you a good time, you deserve that." He says, his eyes boring into mine now. "Plus, I did say the next time you saw me, it'd be a date." A smirk on his lips now.

I don't know if I'd ever done anything more impulsive in my life. If I had, this moment would definitely top it. Because without any thought about what had just happened, or what was going to happen in the future, I only had one thing on my mind. Brendon Urie.

"Of course," I say. "I'd love to go on a date with you."

A/N: Aaaaannddd that's the chapter! I hope you enjoyed it! Can't wait for what's to come next! :)

Much love,

~ Trish
