A/n: New update! Whose excited?

"I can't believe this," I say, letting a sigh fall from my lips. Amy and I had been back in our hotel room for an hour now, and I immediately had drilled her with questions, demanding answers, wanting to know why she didn't tell me any of this before hand. "Why didn't you tell me?" I asked my friend, glancing up at her.
"What was I supposed to do, Sarah? Just drop it in conversation one day? 'Oh, by the way. I've known Kenny, guitarist for Panic! At The Disco since high school'."
I look at her with bug eyes, "Yeah, actually!" I yell. "You could have said exactly that."
"I'm sorry," Amy says, coming to sit down next to me. "I just thought that if you knew before...you wouldn't have come with me to the concert. You would have felt set up and I jus-"
"That's exactly how I feel." I butt in.
Her lips form a thin line, and she shakes her head before continuing. "You've just been so sad lately, Sarah. And after you told me what happened with Alex...I knew you needed something good in your life. So, I thought that maybe this would be a good thing for you."
I take a deep breath. She'd only had the best interests for me, and I was grateful to have a friend such as her. "I forgive you..." I start.
"Yay!" she interjects.
"On one occasion," I say, glancing at her. "If anything like this comes up ever again, you have to tell me right away. Promise?"
"Promise."

[Brendon's POV]
I needed to see her again.
The woman with the beautiful brunette hair and ocean blue eyes. I'd never seen anyone like her before, she seemed so genuine, so down to earth. So...real. Which is hard to come by when you've suddenly found yourself thrust into the limelight. The women only want you for your money or what you can do for their career's. But she was different. She was herself.
"Bren," A deep voice says, shaking me from my thoughts.
"Hm? What's up?" I say, turning to greet Dallon.
"You kinda zoned out," He says, pointing to the cards in his, Kenny, Zack's and my own hands. We had apparently been playing poker when I decided to lose myself in the thoughts of her.
"Oh, shit. My bad." I say, laying down my hand.
All aces.
The guys groan collectively, Zack throwing up his hands and letting a string of curse words fly out of his mouth. "Damnit. That's the third time this week I've lost to you, Urie. And you weren't even paying attention this time. How the hell?" Zack questions.
"I'm like a scarf trick, Zack. It's all up the sleeve." I say, waggling my eyebrows at him.
"So," Dallon starts in, leaning forward. "What were you thinking about that's got you so out of it?"
"Huh? Oh, just some potential songs for the next album."
"Yeah, right." Kenny interjects. "He was probably thinking about Sarah."
"Whose Sarah?" Dallon asks.
"Oh, the girl from earlier." Zack says, a small smirk tugging at his lips.
"What? No, I wasn't." I reply, trying my best to get around the subject.
"...Right." Kenny says, winking, and shaking his head. "Sure you weren't."

[Sarah's POV]
The weekend had come and gone so fast, and sadly, it was time for us to return home. As we packed up the last of our stuff and gathered our bags, I felt a sadness weighing me down. It was time to return home, which meant I finally had to face the problems with Alex, but it also meant that I wouldn't be seeing Brendon again anytime soon.
"Hey," Amy says, knocking me out of my own thoughts. "You ready to head to the airport?" She asks.
I nod, "Yeah...I'm ready."
She squeezes my hand gently, "Hey. Things will be alright." She says, able to sense my anxiety about returning home.
"Yeah. I hope you're right." I say. We check out of our hotel room, hail a cab, and are now enduring the hour's drive to the airport. As if on cue, my phone rings off, notifying me of a text. It's from a number I don't recognize.
Unknown: Sarah? Holy shit, I'm so sorry I didn't text sooner!
Me: Whose this?
Me: Wait- Brendon?
Brendon: Good guess, darlin' (;
Me: I thought I was supposed to text you. You did give me your number after all...
Brendon: I got your number from Kenny who got it from Amy. Hope that's alright.
Me: It is.
Brendon: Shit. Today's Sunday! You're going home aren't you?
Me: Headed to the airport now :(
Brendon: When can I see you again?
Me: Whenever you're in Michigan, I guess.
Brendon: It's a date.
I look up from my phone just in time to realize that we've made it to the airport. Time to head home, I think to myself.
