"Bae somebody calling you!" Ayanna yelled out from the room.
"Hold up Pooh I'll be right back." I said putting her lil Barbie doll down and jogging to my room.
"Who is it?" I questioned.
"I don't know." She said handing me my phone. It was an unfamiliar number.
"Wassup?" I said answering the phone as I sat on the edge of the bed.
"Aye bro, this Kash." The dude responded. Kash is one of my homeboys from my hometown.
"Wassup witcha bra?" I responded.
"Good, shid trynna stay out the way. I needa favor." He said then I sighed.
"Listen bruh I just got out of jail dealing with that, I'm not trynna go back. I gotta child to raise and I d-" I said but he cut me off.
"Bruh it's nothing like that. Listen, I'm in some shit right now." He said. "And you know I don't want shit happening to my lil sister, and I know how you moved outta town and I was wondering can she stay low down there? I just don't want her in this shit, please bruh? You know my money good." He said then I sighed.
"When bruh?" I questioned.
"If you going with my plan then I'm sending her tomorrow, she already got everything packed. You know I don't trust a lot of folks man." He said, I couldn't say no because I wouldn't want some shit happening to my sister.
"Yea, imma send you my address." I said then he sighed with relief.
"Thanks bro, imma hit you up when she on the way that way." He said then we said our goodbyes.
"What was that?" Ayanna questioned as I messaged him my address.
"You know I love you, right?" I said tossing my phone to the other side of the bed.
"Lucas don't play with me." She said rolling her eyes.
"Can y'all watch Amauree Jade while me and Liabug go to the store." Talia said coming in the room. Her and my sister done got so close since the funeral. Well ever since Liabug moved in also.
"Bring her up in here." Ayanna said then she walked out.
"Lucas tell me what the fuck is up." Ayanna said looking at me.
"My homeboy from back in my hometown needed a favor." I said shrugging my shoulder.
"What's the favor?" She questioned.
"He got into some shit and he don't want his lil sister in it, he wanna keep her safe and shit so he want her to come down here." I said.
"Awl Hell, you acting like it's some shit imma get mad about, this your house Lucas." She said surprising me.
"This both of our house, as long as we together what's mines is yours and what's yours is mines." I said then pecked her lips.
"Daddy, you supposed to be coming back." Pooh said coming in the room with Talia following behind her with Amauree Jade.
"Girl hush I been playing with them dolls for 3 hours, gimme a break." I said picking her up.
