Lucas Pov:
"Boy get yo ass up off my couch. You know I don't play that sleeping on my couch shit." My auntie said pushing on me waking me up.
"Leave me alone, it's too early for that shit." I mumbled and turned over the other way dozing back off. I felt the covers come off me and sharp sting hit me on my leg causing me to jump up.
I turned over and she had a belt in her hands. "Then you ain't gone nothing on but ya damn boxers. Get the hell up." She snapped. It feels like the old days.
"My bad." I said then snatched the covers out her hands once I got up.
"Boy I'll smack you upside yo big ass head." She said as I walked off.
I walked in the room and jumped right in the bed.
"You know it's 11 and you gotta go meet up with your manager." Jayda said walking in the room with a towel over her head and a simple outfit to walk around the house in.
"Fuck." I mumbled then rolled over in the bed and grabbed my phone from the nightstand and seen I had a missed call from my manager then a text messagelilntieager- you missed the meeting, but you better not show up late tonight. This your last warning.
"Why yo ass didn't wake me up?" I questioned tossing my phone across the bed.
"Because you're a grown ass man, you can wake yourself up." She said with an attitude.
"I'm not Finn deal with yo shit today for real. We supposed to came down here to have fun together but I don't even wanna be around yo ass right now." I said forgetting her feelings get hurt quick.
"Ok well why the fuck is you talking to me?" She snapped back then my auntie walked in the room. She looked at me then Jayda then back at me.
"Pooh just woke up, we finn go to the grocery store. Y'all wanna come?" She questioned.
"Naa, we good." I said shaking my head.
"Actually, I wanna go." Jayda said then took the towel off her head.
"Iight whatever." I said then got back in the bed.
"Well, just come downstairs when you're ready." My auntie said then walked off.
"I regret even bringing you down here for real, like why the fuck you being so lowdown and thinking that you run shit." I said looking over at her.
"I'm not running shit or being lowdown. You got mad at me because I don't wanna leave to go to an hotel? Like that's just wasting money and then you got folks out here ready to jump yo ass, I feel like it's just safer here. And why the fuck you trynna leave because your ex here, like damn it's that bad you gotta leave? No, we're not going to an hotel because let's see how bad you really want this marriage." She said putting her hair into a ball then walked out. I never dealt with nobody as controlling as her and now I'm regretting it all.
