Jimin's POV

"(Y/N)!" Her best friend suddenly bursts in the door, panting heavily "The doctor called agai-" she paused, her eyes wander around the room, only to be shocked "A-ah, J-jimin-si... You're here.." She trailed off, turning pale

"You knew about this?" I asked, standing and showing her the pill bottle "For how long!?" I shout in frustration

"Jimin-ah, calm down." Namjoon holds me back

She stands there silent, her eyes trembled "Answer me!"

"Yes!" She flinched "I know about this, everyone in her family does, she didn't want to tell you-"

"Didn't want to tell me? Why?" I asked, a little hurt

"Because she loves you." Tears rolled down her face "Jimin she didn't want to tell you because she didn't want you to worry. If anything she wanted to deal with this alone because she wants you to continue having a happy life." She explains "She was going to break up with you just so she wouldn't be a bother to you, but she really couldn't do it. Besides, she didn't have a good enough excuse that you would believe in."

I drop to my seat and breathe shakily. I was confused and heart broken "How long has she been like this?"

"Ten months."

"Ten months?" I lean back, tears uncontrollably fall from my eyes

She's been suffering all this time and I didn't even know...

"I'm a terrible person." I cry out

The boys and her bestfriend start comforting me, patting my back and silently cry along

It all makes sense now, the plastic bags her friend would give her, not being in the apartment often, and nights when she'd be inside the bathroom for too long. How had I not noticed?

~~ the next day ~~

It's been a day now since she came here, I hadn't left her side yet and I'm not planning to. The boys and her friend had gone out to get some food while I stayed behind, watching her sleep silently

"I'm sorry." I whisper to her repeatedly "I'm so so sorry." I held her hand lightly kissing it every second

I'd been crying so much that my sleeves are wet from wiping and my eyes were puffy

"I'm sorry." I kissed her hand again, closing my eyes as tears effortlessly fall over and over again

"Jimin?"

My eyes open wide and (Y/N) stirs slowly

Your POV

"I'm sorry." A silent voice says and a cold wet drop touches your skin

You slowly open your eyes to see who was there "Jimin?" You ask, unsure if it was really him

"(Y/N)? Darling?" He wipes his eyes "Oh my God you're awake!" He beams but his smile drops immediately and cries, my heart ached to see him like this, You wished you had never done this to him, eventually you started crying too "I'll- g-go call a doctor- ok?" He shakily says, kissing my hand and gets up "Hang in there."
