Your POV

It's been three weeks since you first met Mark. He has gone to your clinic more than 5 times now, not even because Haneul was sick. The first time he came to your clinic without Haneul was the day right after he found out about the spoiled milk. He came with take out as, what he liked to call, a token of appreciation.

"It's not much." He said, rubbing the back of his neck

Although it was such a simple action, you thought it was really nice of him to do such a thing since that was the first time a guy, that you weren't well acquainted with, did that to you

The next two times he visited was because he needed someone to look after Haneul. She wasn't sick or anything, it was just because his older sister was out of town and no one could look after her

"Is it ok if she stays with you?" He nervously asked, holding Haneul in his arms as she slept

"Of course it is, she can just stay in my office and draw or whatever she wants to do." You happily say

"Thank you." He sighs in relief

The last visit he made was three days ago when he asked you how to make healthy food delicious. It was odd but nonetheless cute in a way

"Do you have a recipe that's healthy but yummy for kids?" He asks

"Mark, you could've searched this in the net." You rub your temples, you were a little busier than usual these days

"Oh, sorry..." He trails

"But I do have a recipe."

You were never strong enough to say no to his questions because, aside from the fact that he's a single parent, he was young and really trying his best for his child. You've also gotten quite close with him in the past few days which made you understand him more than you already do

There was a week he'd bring you a meal every lunch and eat it with you in your office, and when that week ended and he stopped doing it, you missed it so much. Sometimes when you didn't get to see Haneul or him for more than 2 days, you'd miss them badly that you'd call them to see how they're doing or sometimes you'd visit them at their home. For some reason they both made you feel really ticklish inside. Their voices, actions, faces, the way they talk, the way they move, just everything; everything about them made you feel smiley... Like they were your own family

However, there was a day where you couldn't meet them even if they tried, or even when you really wanted to. It was the day when your blind date was planned. Your friend didn't know that you already had someone in mind so she told the boy you were meeting with that you'd be up for the date. You couldn't turn back now since, apparently, he had already planned out the day; ambitious, you thought

"Where is he?" You look left and right for your date, hoping a guy would just randomly go up to you and take his seat so you could get this over with

Minutes pass and he still hasn't showed up. You decided to call your friend incase you got the details wrong

"(Y/F/N)?"

"Ye?" She says on the other line

"I thought you said that he planned out everything and is ready?" You asked, huffing a little
