Your POV

You were concentrating on a new painting, calm music blasting in your studio helped you focus as it muted the outside world. You carefully added more shading and highlights as you near the end of your art work. It was going to be your last painting inside that studio before you leave for New York tomorrow. You were going to expand your understanding of art and expand your oppurtunities by going abroad, you have only told your family about you leave since you knew goodbyes were the hardest. Just as you were immersed in your painting the music suddenly stops and you turn to see your best friend/crush Jungkook, leaning on the table where your speaker and phone sat. Beside him some, what you assumed, was takeout that he must've brought.

"I was listening to that." You turned back your attention to your work

"I know." He quietly says, making his way to you. He bends down to your level and watches you finish up

"Keep your distance while I work." You say, seeing his face at the corner of your eye

"So grumpy." He pinches your cheek, causing you to slightly move away from your painting

"Ya! I said distance!" You huff

"Aish thats enough, it looks like a master piece now lets eat." He grabs your paintbrush and puts it in the cup where you had the rest of your brushes

You sigh and give in, knowing you wont exactly be able to finish work with someone else around. "You left practice early?"

"Yeah..." He slowly takes out the food and starts to set the table "I wanted to see you cause I want to tell you a few things."

You wash your hands and remove your apron, hanging it on a hook. "A few things about what?" You walk over to the table and sit across him

"Let's eat." He grabs his share and waits for you to grab your before begining "Well... I need some help."

"About what?"

"How would you feel if I took someone on a date?" He stared at you and you had this expression of disappointment on your face "It's just a question."

A little backstory, Jungkook and you have been best friends since you two were teens, that friendship did cause you to develop some feelings for him, and you thought he felt the same too but you were taken a back when he said he didn't want to risk your friendship, and wanted to remain only as friends. You were hurt, very hurt, you hid all your paintings of him, and you even avoided him for a month after the incident. Jungkook didn't want to lose you so he's been very cautious about his actions and his words especially when it's about other girls in his life, he was scared to hurt you again.

"I dont really mind." You sigh

"You sure? You did say a few years back that you li-"

"That was 4 years ago Kookie, I don't like you, okay?" You take a bite of some chicken and waited for him to reply

He suddenly pouts and sighs "You don't like me?"

You laugh at his cute attempt to make you feel guilty "I like you as a friend, nothing more nothing less."

He gives you his eye smile and happily eats. "Well, I wanted to take this girl on a date but-" he chews his food the proceeds "I don't know where to take her."

"Whats her favorite food? Or like favorite resto?" You shrugged "Ask her where she'd want to eat."

"Okay." He nods his head and finishes his food
