"Whats it like to cut?"

Well go to the beach and walk into the water, blindfolded. You keep walking, you don't know where you're going. You just know you're going deeper and deeper. That's what cutting feels like. Depression has blinded you. All you know is your going deeper. Keep walking until you start to drown. Then you want air, relief, to not be drowning. Now imagine someone pulls you out of the water, the sudden relief. That's what cutting is, its relief. Relief from all the pain you've been drowning in. From imperfections, insecurities, bullies, not being good enough, felling like your fat.
You may find cutting disgusting and you may never understand it.

But for cutters, its the only answer, the only relief
