Morgan was fighting against her feelings. She was feeling so terrified, her heart was aching. She was having doubts about Cayden, maybe he wasn't the answer to her depression. Feelings of hurt were filling her body and her soal. The one way out in her eyes..... But she promised she would try to contact her sponsor if she was feeling of acting in her feelings. So she Called him.. When he didn't answer, she left him a message...

(1 hour later)

"AND THE WARRIORS ARE LEADING THE WILDCATS 28-24. ALL EYES ARE NOW ALL ON WEST-EDS BASKETBALL CAP NUMBER 15 CAYDEN GAL-LYNN." Cayden was feeling the pressure, everything was riding on him. 20 minute break... he went to look at his phone. #3 MISSED CALLS and #1 NEW VOICEMAIL.

"Cayden, I'm sorry...(cries)..to..bother you but..... I really need to talk earlier........I'm sorry.....You know what just forget, your team and your friends need you...more than...me..Bye."

The sudden feel of guilt hit him like bricks. For the rest of the night his focus was not on the game, it was on Morgan the girl who was upset, he could've stopped ended her pain, even for a second. When the game ended, Wildcats barely won.

"Hey Cayden, Where was your head?" his father asked. "Sorry..I have to go..Someone needs me for than the team right now dad." he replied ran to his truck and started the engine. He didn't even give his dad a chance to reply. He was gone, before anyone could blink.

The odds weren't in Cayden's favor, he hit every red light on his drive to his sponsor, adding to fact it was rush hour in Edmonton. A 20 minute drive turned into 30. He knew where to find her, the Tressa Loza Park.

30 minutes later.. Cayden found himself standing in childrens local playground. Walking through the park, children were playing and giggling with one another. Right in the middle of the playground was the swings, and on the third swing, was a pretty teenage girl swaying back and forth.... The girl he was searching for.

Cayden walked up to his group Sponsor feeling nervous, he didn't know how to apologize to her for being a selfish idiot. Morgan noticed his presence when he sat on the swing to her left. Her face was stained with tears and her eyes were red and full of sadness and Cayden didn't like it one bit. She avoided looking at him, she felt so hurt and let down.

"Morgan... please talk to me.....that's what you supposed to do when you feel this way." he said, Morgan's red eyes, started to push tears down her face again for what seemed like the millionth time. She still choose to stay silent at his words.

"Hey.....I'm so very sorry about earlier. I saw you were in pain, and you tried to tell me. But I acted like the biggest asshole ever, and I walked away from you." Cayden replied back again. Morgan looked at him after five minutes, she looked as if she stopped crying.

"My Parents..... Are getting a divorce... And my mom is moving back her hometown...Moose Jaw. My Dad is going back to North-battleford." she explained and then continted after a break for air.

"I don't want to leave.... But I can't stay by myself my mom won't allow it, and I don't want to go with my dad. I have no idea what I'm going to do" she said with so much sadness everything seemed to turn grey. Cayden pulled her into his side and gave her a side hug.

"What do you want to do? Where do you want to go?" Cayden asked. Morgan looked right into Cayden's Green eyes.

"I want to stay in Edmonton...." she said very honestly. Beep beep, Caydens phone went off alerting him he had a text message.

MOM:

Where are u? And why is your dad keep saying you ran off?

He bit his lip, Morgan looked at him "Your parents?" she asked

"Yeah.. do you want to come to my house? After every game we through this after party thing" she looked away, Cayden saw her cheeks turn a little red.

"You don't have to take me.... I do not expect you to put your life on hold for me." she replied. He looked down at the ground with a frown.

"You're not putting my life on hold Morgan... if anything you're making me move forward." Cayden said back to her.

"No one knows my true feelings, or about my mental health issues. For the longest time I hid my emotions, until I met you." he stopped to take a breath.

"You didn't know me as the 'Basketball Star', you knew me as a regular teenage boy with insecurities. Morgan you're the reason why I have more faith in myself." Cayden said, witch caused her to smile so brightly.

"Now, it's my turn to be the hero." Cayden explained while Morgan let out a laugh.

"Ok" she gave her answer and that's all Cayden needed to hear. Cayden now knew he had to put his responsibilities as a sponsor first, than his personal actives. She knew she had found someone special, but Morgan didn't know if it'll last. Putting her feelings side, she smiled at the 'basketball star' and let where the night would take her, pushing out her current problems and letting happiness replace her emotions.
