Chapter 8: Friends, Family And Guys

Morgan was on top on the moon to describe her feelings. She had her very first kiss. It was amazing, sweet, emotional and everything she'd ever wanted. She had a boyfriend finally!! After her last relationship she was ready to feel happy and safe, and Cayden made her feel like that.

At school on Monday....

Cayden had the biggest smile on his face and he was walking, feeling so proud of himself and was just having a great day. Dakota just smirked, when he saw his best friend of 9 years.

"What's up with you BC?" he asked.

"Nothing, I'm just having a good morning," Cayden replied back. Cole just rolled his eyes.

   "Would it have anything to do with a certain shy math geek?" Cole asked, Cayden threw a glare at him. Not even a second after Cole's comment, Morgan walked pass the boys to her locker, not before looking at Cayden and smiling at him.

"Maybe...Because Morgan is now my girlfriend." Cayden replied at his friends comment. The shock of the look on Cole and Dakota's faces was completely hysterical.

"What about me? And why is Cayden laughing like the Joker?" Morgan said appearing behind Cayden, who was having a laugh attack.

"Well Morgan, Cayden informed these to completely blind idiots. That you guys are now a couple." Jamie explained.

"I mean it's so obvious you guys are into each other" Lara said. Morgan's checks quickly turned slightly pink, while Cayden's laughter came to a finish.

(School bell rings)

"Hey Morgan, we have a Club meeting right now, they always take place during free period." Jamie said to her friend. Morgan nodded her head and everyone stood up.

"Well Girls... as much as we would love to amaze you with are charm and good looks... we got practice" Cole said too the girls, while all three of the girls rolled their eyes.

"Is it just me, or, do the boys have ego's the size of Jupiter?" Morgan asked her new girl friends.

"Girl.. You have NO idea" Lara said.

"Come on we have an ACT meeting." Jaime said changing the subject.

"Well see you guys later, I've got drama prep during free period." Lara walked away towards the auditorium. Morgan and Jamie waited a few minutes, before walking to the science lab, so their wasn't so many people in a crowded space.

The science Lab, was on the 3rd floor. The stairwells and four floors, were an extensive adjustment, that Morgan was gradually becoming accustomed too. She had grew up in a small town, with a population of less than a Thousand people, and she knew she had triple times that just in the school alone! Probably she is adapting to her new environment, however, yet the gigantic school, still took her breath away. Morgan's astonishment of the building, brought a smile and slight giggle to Jamie.

"Still adjusting to the size? " Jamie asked, well Morgan blushed in embarrassment.

"Uh... Y-yeah" Morgan said back, preceding to open the door to enter the stairwell. Jamie gave a Morgan a swift glance before looking down and laughing. Her actions caught the shy girl's attention.

"What?" she asked

"Come on..... YOU knew what" Jamie replied back. Right then and there, Morgan new what Jamie was referring too.

"What happened on Friday with you and Cayden?" Jamie asked looking at her friend who knew she had no way out from this conversation. Climbing the stairs, she decided to spill.
